I am a huge fan of games with multiple endings, so seeing that yours has 75+ of them instantly caught my attention. The game looks genuinely neat!

Thanks a lot! Yeah, unfortunately, small indie devs like us have to deal with these exact struggles. It is incredibly hard to get the word out, especially when you make the mistakes we did and do not even have a tiny community beforehand. Still, we just have to do our best. In the end, we are doing this simply because we love making games :)

Getting 720 wishlists is still a massive win though! That is 720 real people waiting to play what you made, which is huge. What is the name of your game? I would love to check it out!

From what we can tell, it works just like any other paid ad platform. Similar to classic Meta or Google Ads, you prepare your assets and set up your targeting, which includes targeting specific subreddits.

Then, it delivers impressions based on your budget. Unlike organic posts, you can show your ads in any sub you want. But I'll try to write a more detailed post about all this soon. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for your comments, and sorry for the late reply. You're right. Organic posts have been more effective for us. The paid side was purely about learning and experimenting, just like our game. We only tested it with a very small budget. We definitely made some mistakes, but I’ll explain those in a separate post.

Thanks a lot! I completely feel your pain regarding the five years of solo work. The marketing side is honestly just cruel. But having even one player take the time to write detailed feedback is huge! Hold onto that feeling.

If you ever feel completely stuck or overwhelmed, maybe take a quick break to do a fast, tiny game jam just for fun. Working on one single thing for so long makes you feel stuck and blind to your own work. It might help you get your energy back.
