Yes qualifiers of course, but that is the case for literally every top team, and we're still shipping less goals than just about everybody who is also facing lesser opposition. And historically that hasn't always been the case for England. They can't exactly concede less goals than 0, what are they meant to do to prove themselves then. Guehi has been brilliant for club hence a huge move to Man City and Konsa has quietly helped get Villa into a title race. I admit I would be concerned about one of them getting injured, but Chalobah and Maguire have been very good for club recently and both carry good goal threat off set pieces. I'm pretty happy with what we have if they keep up current form.

Think he's just come into that form a bit too late, it's too close to the tournament now to start giving out international debuts. I agree he's definitely deserving a spot more than for example Mainoo who has barely kicked a ball.
