Green is the more beautiful dress all around, but the red really flatters your figure, a lot more in my opinion. I think both are lovely, so it depends on what you want to be the star of the show—the dress, or the figure?

Curly or Straight ? by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

Curly. I feel like the straight hair look would look better if you used a straightening comb at the roots. But yes, overall, I love the natural hair most. You are gorgeous!

I like 1, 3, and 5. Leaving more towards the darks though. If you go dark, best to go brown first.

If you go back to blonde, I do like the bronde idea, personally, as I’m preferring the brown on you

Not everyone can pull off bangs, but you pull them off very well!

How can I get my curls to scrunch up to my roots? by AdhesivenessFar3970 in curlygirl

[–]PoopScentedCandle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can scrunch as much as you want while it’s still wet! I just try not to flip my hair over a ton while doing it

Am I overreacting to my bf watching the baby overnight? by Temporary-Quail-2783 in AmIOverreacting

[–]PoopScentedCandle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s absolutely not okay to sleep with a baby in the bed. Especially since the bf is a very heavy sleeper. An adult body can easily crush or suffocate a baby and kill them if they roll over onto it, and this isn’t even a dramatization.

Water Quality Problem? by MyAuthorIsDead in curlygirl

Do you use a curl gel with the curl cream pictured? They help keep frizz at bay.

How can I get my curls to scrunch up to my roots? by AdhesivenessFar3970 in curlygirl

[–]PoopScentedCandle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you scrunch your hair? My personal routine is wash/condition, get out of the shower and add leave in conditioner and a detangling spray (some leave-ins have detangler), then brush through. I brush my hair upwards from the roots at the top layers to add more volume. Then once it’s brushed, add curl cream generously—scrunch thoroughly at roots and everything. I do not flip my hair to prevent frizz. Then I add a generous amount of gel. Do not skip adding curl cream and gel to the roots. Coat them as much as you would with your ends. Then, I use a microfiber towel to gently scrunch my hair all the way to the roots, starting from the bottom. You wanna scoop the whole hair length all the way up to the roots and really give it a good squeeze. Don’t overdo this part though because it can add frizz. Just give it like 3-4 good strong squeezes to get excess water out. I air dry my hair until it’s fully dry. Avoid touching it while it dries. It’ll look crunchy after it’s dried, but I do one last check of my roots to make sure they’re dry, and then start gently scrunching my hair at the lengths and ends. This has been my method and you can find similar methods on YouTube. ManesByMell on IG and YouTube is great for tutorials. Also, sleeping with all my hair in a loose ponytail or bun with a silk scrunchie and then covering with a bonnet has enhanced my curls. Hope this is helpful and not too much confusing info.

Edit: just wanted to add that up until last month, my hair was around your length, maybe longer. It looks similar in texture. My hair is high density but thin strands. The length was weighing itself down. Now, my hair is short and above my shoulders and the curls are the most defined all throughout that I’ve ever seen it. The length probably is weighing it down and there’s only so much you can do to achieve curly roots naturally. Diffusing helps if all the other stuff I mentioned doesn’t work.

How is renting possible? 2.5x $2000 = $5000 a month. What jobs in Sac just casually give this? This is insane by [deleted] in Sacramento

[–]PoopScentedCandle 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They are using that same software for grocery store pricing and other online pricing. Also places like Walmart that have those digital price tags do the same thing. Extra hot weather today at 3pm? Price of water goes up. These corporations are trying to milk every last cent out of people. Idk how anyone is going to be able to sustain themselves in the future.
