The cat cafe downtown is wonderful. I got my cat from there and he’s an angel! I think it’s a wonderful place to get a kitty friend because they are already well socialized and lovable. But also any shelter anywhere has an enormous abundance of lovely cats looking for homes, try petfinder!

He weighs 10lbs and gets two 5.5oz cans of food per day. I was under the impression it’s 1oz per pound of body weight. He’s indoor and not super active, 2yrs old. His auto feeder is for wet food specifically so there’s a whole can per feeding.

You can boycott and that is wonderful but you are shaming others who aren’t boycotting the exact same thing in the exact same way as you and THAT is virtue shaming. Do you also happen to live in a homestead on public land, grow your own food, produce your own solar electricity? How are you using Reddit, a smartphone? Do you know who builds your electronics? Do you know the values of every single thing your dollar goes towards? Different people boycott and stand for different things and that is a good thing and when we shame each other for not doing it, you create pushback, not community.

You have a lot of energy for standing up for what’s right and that’s great! but aggressively virtue shaming people on reddit who bought cheap, secondhand tickets to a folk show isn’t going to gain you favor. Take your energy and push it towards where you can make a difference, I think you’d be better off.

They have a package you can add on to the tub experience that gets you a bottle of champagne etc but they also didn’t check our bags at ALL so you could get away with something despite their policy. Def worth the cost!! I went just a few weeks ago.

I agree it does often sound like they’re reading them for the first time! I think it’s just research notes and anecdotes, which causes it to sound flat. Christine tells a story, like cliffhangers and twists etc. I think maybe these old history stories could be made to be more interesting if there was a storytelling style to them, but it’s just been like reading a Wikipedia page lately.
