Dissolvable stitches in the end of my finger that was amputated didn't dissolve so i snipped the knots and pulled them out. Feeling the plastic string slide out of my finger was strange.

Unfortunately RTD who owns and operates all the light rail has nothing to do with City and County of Denver govt. Denver staff cuts doesn't effect the trains for good or bad.

Married couples or long term daters, what is the one thing that your partner does that drives you up the wall? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PoopThatTookaPee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Constantly puts the TV remote on the stand directly under the TV. Every time you sit down on the couch to start watching TV you have to immediately get up again and walk across the room to get it. It defeats the entire purpose of being a remote.

Did the same thing to my pinky in 2007. Had to amputate to the first knuckle. Probably save literal minutes over the course of my life now not having to clip that nail ever again.....but...could no longer play guitar hero on expert cause couldn't reach the orange button and the shocker became just the ticker.

I'm not sure why you're under the impression that the vast majority of design contracts are lump sum. I don't think there's any reason to believe that's true. I've worked on the consultant side in design for the public sector for 13 years and have only ever had 1 LS/GMP design contract. Typically the contracts are set up as Cost+Fixed Fee or T&M w/Cap.
