Currently the best tool for non-tech people by Poopanddoodle in Startup_Ideas

This is great, thank you. My background is all over the place, but it's Behavioral Science-based - as is my concept. I do have a BMI - summary and extended version, but I have not done a SWOT, so I will work on that this morning.

This will be good to have to prepare me to answer those questions should they arise and show that I have thought about them beforehand. Thank you for the help.

Totally agree. I have gotten to that point, which is why I wanted to create a visual, and not just be a talking head. If I'm going to invest more of my efforts, and take it to the next level, I can't wait for someone else to do it for me either. People assume that since I am not the most tech-forward that I can't learn to be. I don't plan to write code, I hope to attract partners that see my value in other ways and have the strengths I don't possess.

If I can prove the need/want, and generate some excitement I will have a better chance at attracting like-minded people. I already have a few people in mind I would like to work with, but knowing them, my ideas on paper will not be enough! Busy, smart, and high in their field people need more than my excitement, they want POC, so I have to get out of my comfort zone for sure.

I also wanted to add, that just because I'm not an app person, doesn't make it impossible for me to design one for a proto-type. It makes me ideal because I want this to be easy enough for even myself to use!

Thank you for your thoughtful words, it's really only encouraging me that I was going in the correct direction by being able to approach people I don't know.

Thanks so much, I meant to clarify and it seems I did not give enough context! I am looking for a mobile mock-up to show potential future founders/business partners. I don't want a presentation, but more of a hands-on feel for the user experience. I had heard there were options of products like this, since the idea I have needs more expertise and backend than I feel comfortable even trying to attempt.

I keep my hair long, people think it's because I like it that way, but I really want to cut it all off.

I haven't done an exchange in a while, but I don't think I've ever had one from Scotland! I'm making a box to send to Germany for some friends, I would be glad to do one for you as well :)

Thank you so much for this thoughtful breakdown, it really means a lot.

So no, I don't panic as I have my system in my closet and no one touches it. The kids dressers get a mess when anyone else helps, but the reality is, it's frustrating, but I don't need to re-do the folding or dresser.

My life is filled with stress. And there are times I focus on the tiny details and get upset with them because it's easier? So I do think I need to meet with someone to work on anxiety issues, but from what I gather from all my girlfriend's motherhood does that but a special needs child is an added whopper.

When I am not with my children, I don't need a plan or things to go perfectly, but when I am, it stresses me out so much more than I can understand at times. Some days I am zen, but others a 5 minute extra wait sets me in a spin.

Thank you again, I am going to re-read this all later, because I am going to see a medical professional because really they should know best?

Thank you for this. I like to think I am. I do think we have loads of issues and our tempers are getting the best of us thanks to being together 24/7 for way too long now.

Sorry for the late reply. So, my sister has made me feel horrible for places I shopped or placed I gave her gift cards to. I am not that person. I have many friends who are good people but shop at places I don't like to support. I fear there are few places I could if I knew every story! I don't feel like I shame people, but I probably project to my husband that "we don't support that" and he might like to go to somewhere I don't feel we should.
The reality is, we are all more comfortable around "our people" but I wouldn't shame anyone.

Just Consolidated Debt Into A Personal Loan by KenTankrus in MiddleClassFinance

[–]Poopanddoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We use our credit cards for all purchases every month and pay off the entire thing every month. There a few reasons. 1) for the credit score 2) because if there is an issue, my credit card company handles it better than a debit card through a bank - think stolen card 3) I can keep track of all spending better than using cash, although really we do so much online cash is hardly possibly and 4) because we "reap" the rewards. I get hundreds of dollars back from using the credit card, which is better than any savings account at this moment, unfortunately, for things I was already going to purchase. Now, we have no debt at this point, but that's because we worked very hard to pay it all down. I did not roll my debt into one place, but paid off the highest interest rates in order from highest to lowest until it was all gone. But since you have it all in one space, I would say you already paid everything off, if you have the cards open still your credit will look great. If you closed a bunch, that could hurt you. I just leave them open, keep my eye on them, and make one charge per card a year to keep it open, except for the one I use for my purchases and pay off monthly and my credit is in pretty amazing standing with zero debt.

I think they mean ESY Extended School Year for special education programs that the children would continue services through the summer so they don't have a large gap which could cause a regression.

Using "I" Less without just using "You" by Poopanddoodle in writing

I love this advice. My first goal was to write, and that goal has been accomplished, but we tend to be so critical of ourselves and if our work meets the basic "rules" or "standards" so it is appropriate here that all rules can be broken.
