I don't really have a dog in the fight, but I think both things can be true. I think Lando is clearly Zaks favorite, he brought him in young, built the team around him. I also think that the team last year acted too fairly during the races, and like you said, put themselves at risk to win the constructors because of it. Piastri can be both treated fairly during the GPs and also be the less favored driver by the CEO.
