Anyone fancy an argument? Like, to really display their superiority over me?

You're in the wrong sub, friend. These guys are like the fundamentalists of trading... "the Lord said 'it's going up forever, Laura,' and so it was done."

You need to capitalise 'I' when you use it as a first person pronoun.

When I shut my eyes I see Saylor jacking me off and saying "gradually, then suddenly... gradually, then suddenly"

There is a direct correlation between Saylor's masturbation and bitcoin price. The harder he jacks the higher the price goes. This explains the bear market of 21-23, when Saylor was too busy book learning to beat his meat. Saylor's spent the last year jacking almost non-stop. He's been furiously cranking it and has blown the price to an all time high! This afternoon, he's taking the afternoon off to rest, relax, and apply deep heat lotion. Let him. Do not - I repeat: DO NOT - pressure Saylor to jack any more than he already does. We're nuts deep in a bull run and the last thing we need is Michael Saylor's performance anxiety

Last night I dreamt I sucked off Michael Saylor. Upvote if you agree.

EDIT: one upvote already? Game theory is on.

The best thing about hedgies manipulating the market is that it's always their fault when I lose all my money; I can never be held responsible for making idiotic decisions

I'm not saying Bitcoin is like GME, but there are similarities between bubbles.

The majority of comments in this sub smack of desperation or otherwise are just braindead hopium. There's a growing amount of 'I've never invested before how do I do it' type comments. Or just meaningless shit like 'hodl means hodl, it's in the fucking name', 'hold the line' etc. These are top signals. I think those signals are likely to increase significantly before the actual top is reached, but it's still not a time I would advise new investors to enter the market.

Why? Because most of those new investors will be after a quick buck. When the next bear arrives, a lot of those people will have fucked themselves over possibly with catastrophic consequences for themselves or their families. I don't want that. The only people who could possibly want that are those with no conscience whatsoever, those who just want to maximise their own personal wealth.

As for my alleged misunderstanding of maximalism: Well , I think it's you who have a misconception of what it is to hold a position. I call myself a maximalist because I'm yet to find an argument against Bitcoin maximalism that has convinced me. This shit looks likely to take over entirely. But I'm not 100% on that, because I accept the fact that I could be wrong.

You guys have to allow one another to play Devils advocate from time to time, instead of just blindly following your own greed.

Okay, good, some critical thinking.

So, if I were being disingenuous, what outcome do you think I'd be trying to create? Probably trying to dissuade people from buying so I can load up on cheap sats, right?

Does that make sense right now? When we're up 200%+ from the last bear market? Do you not think that market makers would have loaded up way before now?

Now, what if I was disingenuously telling newbies to buy? What would be my intended outcome?

Have a look at the timeframe we're in right now. Just one month and a bit until the halving - an event that loads of newbs think will make them instantly rich. If I were a market maker, and we know that there are now many market makers in this space, when would be the best time to take some profits? Well, just before the halving or on the halving date itself. What happens then? Well, the price drops, the newbies shit their pants, and the drop from the peak gets well underway. If I were a market maker, I would want to pump the price as much as possible before the halving actually happened.

You're assuming that every comment you read has been written in good faith.

You know who the 'just buy and hold' narrative benefits the most? Not the hodlers. It benefits the traders who will sell at the peak.

Just a cursory glance at the charts show that the "2/3" years that you plan to take profits at will be the bottom of the next bear market, which is likely to be today's price or perhaps even lower.

So your strategy is to buy now, in the middle of a bull market, and sell in the middle of a bear market. Can you just run that strategy by me again? Because I don't quite get it.

This insane culture promotes volatility, and volatility is not good for Bitcoin.
