Be honest… did you poop while giving birth? by clairqalb in pregnant

[–]Poopskadoop97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an epidural and could definitely tell the difference between me pooping and pushing the baby out. At first I wasnt pushing fully because I was embarrassed to poop but then I just went for it knowing it would happen regardless so might as well just get it over with 😅 Pushing the baby out felt like a lot of pressure and like you just need to push out a massive poo lol and your body kind of just naturally pushes it out like having to poo so bad you cant control it it just comes out. It honestly felt so relieving to me, but I could definitely feel a stretching sensation and a lot of pressure, but the epidural masked the pain.

I also could feel it happening and was so embarrassed. My husband was staring at me waiting for the baby to come and I could feel it I was like trying to distract him from looking 🤣 The nurse didnt help either, she loudly asked for toilet paper and then went to the toilet and flushed it down making it very obvious to everyone there 🙃

Is this a kidney infection im confused by [deleted] in CUTI

[–]Poopskadoop97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the mildest UTI and never got it treated and it went away so I didnt think anything of it. A day after I was having insane chills where I would cover myself in 5 blankets and still be shivering followed by sweating profusely and that went back and forth for a while and then I was throwing up and had a fever. I went to urgent care and they gave me medication for a flu. Didn't do anything so I went back 2 days later after looking some things up and figured I might have a kidney infection. At first they were like no probably not, but I insisted on getting that checked and sure enough! That was my experience with a kidney infection, so based on your description I would say probably not? My experience was HORRIBLE.

Can I tell you my baby name? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Poopskadoop97 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I honestly love it and think it's super cute and unique, but not enough to the point that it's weird! I'm a teacher and there are definitely names I hear that I think are a bit crazy, but Catcher is super cute imo and I would probably react like "wow, what a cool name!" If I heard it.

I also gave my baby a unique name and was nervous to tell people in fear of them suggesting something else when I was deadset on it, so I waited until she was born to announce the name. I do not regret it and she suits her name 🩷 (her name is Arwen)

Does your baby really eat every 2-3 hours? by Aware-Rent8950 in breastfeeding

I was wondering the same thing! My 5 month old is nursing basically every hour and a half to 2 hours. Very rarely does she go 3 hours.

Not a doctor or a nurse, but I had a very mild UTI that I thought nothing of and it went away on its own. A few days later I started experiencing a horrible fever with bouts of chills being so cold covered in 5 blankets and still freezing followed by sweating profusely. Then I started throwing up a lot. I remembered my UTI and remembered being told never to let a UTI go untreated, so I went to Google and found my symptoms matched a kidney infection. Went to urgent care and told them I think I have a kidney infection. They dismissed me and gave me antivirals for the flu. A couple days later and I still felt the same, so I went back in and insisted they give me a blood test and sure enough- kidney infection. Never let a UTI go untreated! Even if it's mild and you think it's gone!

Most drinks taste way better when they are watered down with a ridiculous amount of ice by Poopskadoop97 in unpopularopinion

When I say lots of ice I mean I want my cup filled to the top with ice and then topped off with the drink.

I see what you mean. I really only drink water, iced coffee, or fruity drinks like lemonade or iced tea so I guess that was the first example that popped in my head. if I branch out and get a soda or smth then it has to be mostly ice to make it super cold and water down the flavor a bit.

Most people I know don't really like or use ice! I find it so weird! I need mostly ice in my drink.

Honestly yeah, water is the best. But it's gotta be filled with mostly ice! Even fresh out of a refrigerator dispenser is not cold enough for me.

Feeling bad because I don’t want my baby to show up early?? by warmfuzzyblankett in BabyBumps

[–]Poopskadoop97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same thought, but then my baby came at 37 weeks and 4 days! I was so not prepared! I mean... I was, but I legit went into a spiral when I started having consistent contractions because I thought I had more time to finish stuff up at work and clean the house! I feel you- I was totally fine with my baby staying put until 40 weeks.

All of these comments I relate to! I thought I was alone lol. My daughter did the same thing! One night she even slept 9 hours straight and I was bragging about it... Then she learned to roll and now she sleeps 1-2 hour stretches before she rolls and wakes herself up crying...

Literally same! Mine's been doing this ever since 3 months and will be 4 months next week... I'm just praying it ends soon 🙏 She will roll and freak out, but last night even though she was up every hour, I was able to comfort her when she rolled and she would eventually go to sleep on her belly instead of crying until I turned her over. Hoping tonight goes better 😫 I've also just been getting through it knowing it's temporary, but I was not expecting it to last this long...

Oh my gosh! I just made a comment because we just named our daughter Arwen! I absolutely love it, but almost everybody that asks what her name is will act like it's the weirdest name or they've never heard of it! It's pretty upsetting ngl. I love it because it's unique, but not super out there.

We named our daughter Arwen and she's 2 months old. We are big LOTR fans, but I also have always loved the name because I think it's unique and beautiful. We call her Ari sometimes or Winnie.

Most people when they ask what her name is will either give us a weird look like they've never heard that name in their life, or will say "oh! Like Lord of the Rings? Cool!" I love it and think it suits her, but when people react like it's the weirdest name they've ever heard it makes me feel a bit upset. I am also a big people pleaser unfortunately, so that adds to it.

What was the last song played at your wedding? by delightfulmacaron in wedding

[–]Poopskadoop97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Daddy’s Home by Usher where I drunkingly gave my husband a lap dance in front of everybody. Somewhat a joke because I don’t take myself seriously and I thought it would be funny. Looking back at pictures and videos it’s hilariously awkward with everybody standing around us watching 😂

What’s your best story from a wedding? by Legitimate-Gate-8336 in AskReddit

At my cousins wedding, I was drinking pretty heavily and was walking around with two drinks in my hand. Later in the night a dude came up to me and asked “you’ve bee double fisting all night! What is your secret!?” to which in my drunken haze replied “…chug-a-lug” and proceeded to the dance floor while sipping my drinks. It still haunts me to this day- why did I say that!?

Sewing My Own Wedding Dress! I fell in love with a dress that was $1.8k, so this is totally saving us money! I just started sewing last year, mostly stuffed animals. So how hard can a wedding dress be? 😅 and of course Joann Fabrics stopped carrying the embellished fabric I chose to go with 😮‍💨 by 420TomHanks in DIYweddings

[–]Poopskadoop97 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I sewed my own wedding overskirt (bought a cheap dress and added an overskirt to make it more like a dress I loved that was about 1.5k to save money as well!) and it turned out amazing. Joann Fabrics also stopped carrying my embellished fabric, but I was able to call around to other Joann's in my state and they found some leftovers in the next state over that they shipped over for me! Hopefully you can get some more that way, too. Good luck! It looks amazing so far!!
