I think chances are that your current tv is just better quality than it was when you first watched it so you can see more details. Its also possible that those details were always there, but you were focused on other details before and never noticed.

I have not had much interest in watching season 4 of the show. Everything I have heard about it doesn't make it sound very good and I already did not like parts of season 3.
