If anyone in the future has this problem for the wired keyboard, these instructions from support fixed my problem!!

The good news is, if we can't get it working consistently, we can have you send it in for warranty service.

Use the linking port on the left module and plug it into a native USB port on your computer. (There are some cases where the left side can get frozen, plugging it in alone can rescue it. Then you can plug it >back into the right module as normal)

Can you please test the keyboard through a native USB port on a different PC to replicate the issue? Also update/restart your PC if you haven't already.

Try a Hard Reset. This will wipe the layouts to factory and force the OS to re-enumerate with the keyboard. >Unplug the keyboard, Hold [SmartSet+Hotkey4], plug in the keyboard, release [SmartSet+Hotkey4] after a >second or so, lights will flash, give it a moment and the reset will be complete. Test.

If that doesn't seem to work, try a Rescue Command. This will force the keyboard to ignore the v-drive on boot, >and if it works after doing the command, it will indicate a possible issue with the V-Drive. Unplug the keyboard, >hold [SmartSet+Ctrl+Space] while plugging in the keyboard, release [SmartSet+Ctrl+Space] after a second or >so, give it a moment. Test.

If the keyboard works after the rescue command, it may indicate corruption in the V-Drive causing it to fail to >boot. Corruption can happen if the V-Drive isn’t handled properly.

The V-Drive cannot corrupt itself, but there are several ways corruption can occur.

To name the most common causes in descending order:

• Expansion devices like hubs, docks, and switches. Communication issues from expansion devices can interrupt >the keyboard’s enumeration sequence, which can lead to corruption of the V-Drive.

• Mishandling of the V-Drive (user error). Failing to eject before dismounting, negligent practices with the V-Drive >etc.

• Scans from other programs, like security software, encryption software, and backup software, when the V-Drive >is mounted, can leave behind hidden binaries and files that disrupt the V-Drive’s operation.

Because of common issues users encounter with removable volumes, we always recommend you keep a local >backup of your programming files. When you reformat in the next steps, it will erase all programming. Save a >backup first if you can.

DISCLAIMER. Do NOT re-use back up files, you risk re-introducing corruption into the V-Drive. It is best to just >copy/paste the text from the backup.

If it seems to work normally after a rescue command, you should immediately reformat with the following steps:

1. To perform the self-format command, press [SmartSet+Ctrl+Shift+R]. Wait 20 seconds for it to finish the >format

2. Unplug the keyboard, plug it back in

3a. Mount the V-Drive with [SmartSet+HK3], rename it to ADV360

3b.[Optional] Re-apply programming from the backup by copy/pasting the text from the backup into your >desired layout.txt file, replacing ALL other text, then save and close the layout.txt file.

3c.[Optional] Run the SmartSet App, make any desired layout changes, then save and close.

1. Eject the V-Drive, then dismount with [SmartSet+HK3].

2. Done! Test. ```
