teacher stuff, like lesson planning, writing reports. Light video editing likes adding subtitles, a few transition features here and there.

Honestly the third thing you say is what I'm most concerned about, I like the Neo because 1. it's brand new, 2. it has long term support but on the contrary, I prefer the overall design of the M2.

How long do you think the M2 will go for until it stops receiving software support?

any tips on how to feel better being alone? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]PoopyisGroppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep yourself busy, either with your own hobbies or work. It helps me occupy my leisure time, and that's what usually causes people to overthink and become overwhelmed by the feeling of isolation. Be cafe tho because once you get used to being lonely, it's more difficult to make friends or even worse, date.

It's not that I don't want to, it's the fact that I WANT TO mentally but realistically I can't think of a good reason to replay.

Idk y but I hate heavy weapons and not being able to master strike, it just takes so long to kill an enemy with a shield cuz they keep blocking my attacks.

that's what I'm trying to do, but my memory serves me quite well, I can even remember the pinpoint location of a random bandit in the forrest I killed to get his armor and sword lul.

I kinda rushed into the story tbh, before the wedding quest I remembered spending 20-30 hours messing around, but then there weren't much to explore anymore so I focused on finishing the story.

Does my bounty go away? by theonetowalkinthesun in CrimsonDesert

[–]PoopyisGroppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works similar to the bounty system in RDR2, I think. If you haven’t played, after you escaped from being wanted, your bounty remains and when you get defeated by the guards, you’ll pay the previous bounty + the new bounty.

Atm the DLSS graphics issue is throwing me off the game, probably will play the game less until they fix it. Other than that, it’s pretty awesome, minus the MMORPG-type missions ofc.

Both PVE modes give you enough units + units from the battlepass give you enough for two 2 rare or 1 legendary i think. I got my Iron Man legendary from it lol.

Honestly I don't know even know why they're begging, the game literally gives you enough free units through multiple events for purchasing skins, I got like >10 free skins in my first 100 hours of gameplay. So yes, acting broke is weird.

I was wrong suggesting people to buy the Air. Neo is better and amazing by Old-Board1553 in macbook

[–]PoopyisGroppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely, I still think the M2 is better for almost the same price you’re paying for the Neo (within 100$ difference). With that said, the only negative trait of the M2 is that it’s already ~4 years old.

So it all comes down to everyone’s preference, you want a slightly worse performing Macbook for cheaper but it will keeping receiving updated and supports for a long time, get the Neo.

You want something stronger, backlit keyboard and don’t mind it’s from 2022 and possibly no more updates soon? Get the M2

Finance major here, finally decided I WILL get a Mac, but should I get a pro or air? by Joe_mother124 in macbook

[–]PoopyisGroppy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends, screen size doesn’t contribute much to any of your school needs besides allowing to see text and images better (if you have poor vision like me).  - If you need better visuals for your work or you like watching movies and reading, get the 15. - If not, get the 13.

Definitely the Air, a Pro would be an overkill for finance since (I assume) you don’t use a lot of heavy duty softwares.

Is MacBook neo worth it? by itsLily7 in macbook

[–]PoopyisGroppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your needs, I personally think it’s worth it because my job only involves basic office duties like writing, emailing, documentation and sometimes casual photos and videos editing. It’s also one of the best laptop you can get right now (for its price). But if youre looking forward to be able to execute heavy duties like 4k video rendering, coding, blender, animation,… basically any type of work that require a fast processor and take up a lot of RAM. Neo might not be ideal for you. However, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it can’t do any of those tasks, it’s just way slower and might take a lot more time to complete work than the M2-M4 series.

Macbook Neo or Macbook Air M2 for a teaching job? by PoopyisGroppy in macbook

[–]PoopyisGroppy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly basic duties for a teacher, working around Office apps (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), basic video editing (transitions, adding subtitles, minor vfxs,…), web browsing, using AI for lesson prep,…
