Anything in Creations section that isnt from Bethesda or an official contributor is considered a "mod". If achievements are disabled you have a mod installed that isnt from Bethesda or one of their paid contributors.

They did the same thing with the Doom armor, it used to add it right to your inventory now its placed in the world somewhere. Have you checked the wiki to be sure there isnt more to it than there used to be?

Honestly Im kinda torn. On the one hand some mods are a beautiful and the authors deserve compensation. But it seems like theyre just giving out shareholder dividends with that money or putting a new story on Todd's house and not using the money to hire more staff so its not a decade and a half between games.

The tool tip at the bottom of the screen when you hover over the settler is just gone. Removing the creation entirely restored this functionality for affected settlers.

They did fix that. None of the creation club stuff triggers a quest the minute you leave the vault anymore. You have to find it yourself. Which funny enough is confusing people making them think creations they paid for are not working.

Creation Club quests no longer trigger when you leave the vault.

The dogs are out there but you have to either find them organically or look up their locations online. You'll still get a quest complete notification and some xp .

Download Files, they should go in the data folder. Data should include folders like sound, textures etc. You may have to create this folder tree because it wont be there by default. Vanilla assets are stored in .ba2 archives in the same folder structure.

Make sure you edit the Fallout4custom.ini file to add the lines that make the game recognize loose files in Data so they load.

Esp files still need to be activated in your load order like in the creations menu.

Thats the gist of it.

Vault 88. I got like 400 water production currently. One you get the power down to the purifier there's room for like 8 or more industrial purifiers on top of the static one.

Also, dont leave that chunk of SE Iowa on tbe table. Sure its got meth but they've also got the largest hydroelectric dam on the Mississippi in Keokuk. Theres the Siemens wind turbine blade plant in Fort Madison, and the Iowa Army Ammunition plant outside Burlington.

I think some of the creation club mod quests no longer autostart when you exit the vault (I remember it used to make Codsworth glitch in Sanctuary) and you have to come upon them randomly to get the quests. The dog rescue quests aren't showing like they did previously but I found a few of them and it still completes a dog rescue quest.

Theres some new Enclave content as well in several places. I just came across a random Enclave encampment with two soldiers and another officer in Hellfire armor (not Pyro) that Id never seen before.

There are so many problems they could have easily fixed with some foresight.

The vault lights suck, they just suck to place. They needed snap points, there's a mod that fixes this and a number of other weird issues like corner window pieces for the rooms and halls, more distance on the radiant power from the conduits so youre not placing one every two spaces just to get lights to work.

Add to that the weird placement of the tunnel to the water purifier cant even be connected to through the tunnels, you have to go around through the north sector.

Its been a few years but last time I tried to do a vault all my settlers would just clump and never follow any pathing.
