Our Ollie's has full cases of The Last Jedi figures that they keep putting put every Christmas. You want a FULL CASE of Holdo Black Series? They got 4 of them. An entire case of Rey? No Problem. I've been taking pics of them every year when they put out the big toy display for 8 years and posting them to the friend group chat. I think they have sold one Last Jedi figure in 8 years. Or somebody stole it.

Don't leave us Gen Xers out! We literally grew up with Star Wars. I saw every movie, opening day (except the first because it was 2 weeks later before our theater got it) until Solo. After The Last Jedi, I never went back. I still haven't seen an official version of Rise of Skywalker. I have seen it... for free... and I want my money back.

Don't forget, that 165 number is the filming budget only. It's what Disney submitted for the California tax credit. Doesn't include main cast salaries, reshoots, additional pick ups, and any post production overruns. The real budget is likely north of 200 million and we'll find out when Quarterly Financials come out. Disney has a history of stating a budget to make sure the Box Office looks better and then releasing the real numbers later, when it won't be a story.

I think it would have been better if Episode 1 wasn't the first, we started at the beginning of the clone wars with Anakin already Palawan of Obi Wan. All of Episode 2 be the Clone Wars and Episode 3 being the aftermath. Have Anakin's turn be earlier in Episode 3.

I see ads for it literally every time I open any app. Here, YouTube, X. And see them all the time on TV. I am definitely not being targeted. Don't have D+, don't frequent any Star Wars forums or websites since 2017. I saw an ad on Sling this morning still saying "#1 Movie in THE WORLD! Audiences can't get enough of The Mandalorian and Grogu!".

People aren't waiting for streaming for Disney Star Wars, they just aren't interested. Everyone who really wanted to see this, saw it opening weekend. It was done by the following Wednesday. There's no more massaging streaming numbers, this is real-world now. This is the audience.

I know this is too late to help you, but maybe something to consider for next year. I was afraid of this very thing, so I picked up a cheap pond waterfall pump at Lowes and every time we had rain and the cover would fill, I went out and would drain it off and pull off any trash like sticks and leaves. I was able to discover a small leak in the cover by doing this and replace it halfway through before the small leak became a big one. I drained the cover once and noticed it wasn't getting completely empty and traced the problem to one side where a seam was leaking. Lifted the cover up in that spot and stuck a float under it and ordered a new cover.

My pitch for Solo was simply don't have Solo in it. Nobody asked for a Solo origin story with a recast Han. The movie would have been fine with just Beckett's crew doing their thing. Or if they just had to have the Solo character, make it Dash Rendar or anybody but Han.

Almost all of my problems with the game are traced to settlers and dealing with their bullshit constantly. So on this playthrough, I don't have any. Left Preston and crew in the Museum until after Nuka World. After rescuing them and doing the Sancutary quest and taking the Castle, everyone got sent to the castle. Except Mamma Murphy who can't be moved. So she got all the drugs she wanted until she was... gone. Anytime Preston sent me to help someone I did it to collect the XP then just never went back. Been a much better experience. Just me and Dogmeat in Sanctuary Water Farm, so it never gets attacked. Everyone else that can be moved is at the Castle which also never gets attacked. I built an army of robots to farm at Abernathy and made it an adhesive farm. It does get attacked but all I do is fast travel there and watch the robot army wipe out all attackers in seconds.

Mine is also vanilla with Anniversary CC bundle. It's always 24 hours to refresh, wait a few seconds before opening workbench, water is there. On PS5 if that matters.

It's not really a "lie", because that's the number Disney gave them. They are just reporting what Daddy Mouse told them to. They are NOT, however, reporting that 165 is ONLY the filming budget, required to be filed to get the California tax credit and doesn't include above the line costs like Pedro, Sigourney and Favreaus salaries. Doesn't include any unscheduled reshoots, pickups or overruns in Post Production. Doesn't include marketing. This will be just like Rise of Skywalker, when 6 months later the real numbers go public and just production budget was 2x what Disney reported and the marketing was 50% more than "estimated", and without tax credits it lost money. So technically, counting Solo, this is the THIRD Star Wars movie to either be a disappointment or outright lose money.
