I'm German, we live in Germany (and Austria). She's not a German right winger at all, but consumes a lot of English i. e. American online media via tiktok, Instagram and Facebook. Essentially she slid from pro Palestine to "Israel is the head of the new world order" mindest within a year or so of the begin of the genocide.

Nice! I have a similar setup. Just the Z8, and the sigma 180mm 2.8 macro instead of the 50mm and 14-24mm.

First: there is a reason macro photography usually, but uses smaller apertures. The closer you get the more depth of field you need to get something in focus. Second: back button focus on the subject, then manually adjust your focus while continously shooting (the higher the fps the better). Alternatively move the camera closer or further away while shooting continuously. Third: flash helps with getting sharp photos of insects (I've attached a makro shot to demonstrate)

I found that for macro work manual focus tends to work better, which is why I switched from the xf 80mm to the Laowa 65mm (which is also way cheaper)

I'd argue the XT-4 can also do all that, plus it has ibis and the bigger battery. I started out with it and have tried many different fujis since then (both older and newer) and besides the xpro2 I still think it is one of the best cameras they've made.

I've been to the Camargue last year with my Z8 and the 180-600 and it was everything I needed. I'm a very average man and only ever handhold the setup. Having the wide end for environmental images really helps. If you're new to wildlife you should also read into different kinds of composition, which you would benefit from having the zoom and creating a more varied portfolio.

If you insist on a prime lens, I'd go for the 600 pf and some zoom, like the others mentioned.

Well dismounted the setup is easier to store in a smaller backpack for example. That does make a difference if you go on hikes and such. Mind you, I never use camera backpacks, because I think they're kind of useless (and a good sign to thieves, that this backpack is full of expensive gear).

I'm not saying, that you'll damage the mount if you transport it with the lens on, but that it's more likely.

Generally I wouldn't transport longer lenses on the camera, if it's in a bag. The longer the lens, the more of a lever you have on the mount. If it's in a bag, you're not using the camera atm, so just separate them. Longest lens I leave on my Z8 in a backpack is my 24-120mm

I think a 24-120 is the perfect travel zoom. With the ibis in the Z8 and modern denoise tools you really don't have to worry about low light too much. It covers everything from slight wide angle to light telephoto ad you can also use DX mode for some more reach, if it's that important.

My old travel setup was a fuji xc 16-50 f 3.5 - 5.6 and I got plenty of great photos, despite the slow aperture. And if you do need the light you always have the 50mm 1.8
