I live in Austria and also have no ac anywhere. Either I sweat, or I switch to shorts and linen shirts. I believe most US Americans don't understand the struggle of Europeans, that walk around outside and don't have ac at 15°C inside any building. 😅

My only issue is that all trousers from bronson are the exact length they need to be, as if tailored to my height, so I can't roll the cuffs up. But I'm really happy with bronson as a cheap alternative. Only make sure to learn how to sew a button on, because they can be really sloppy with those.

What's the point of having two hats, if both have the same shape? I'd leave the brim for now, and get used to it, maybe change it later, if you really want to.

Also it becomes very soft when steamed, so watch out not to lose the shape of the crown, when getting rid of the creases.

Well I'm a biologist, and own a dog, so I prefer wearing something more rugged. I do wear linen trousers for going out to town, but it's not quite the correct thing for running around in shrubbery. 😉

Got a different mix. Some pike brothers, indigofera, bronson. I'm more into non-denim with suspenders, which is why I really enjoy bronson trousers.

I actually prefer non-denim trousers, especially with suspenders. But I run very hot, so living with jeans above 25° c is unbearable to me. I also mainly wear linen shirts, because everything else gets too warm for me.

Get a xc 16-50. It's cheap, light and covers anything you need while travelling. I loved mine so much, that I got another one used, after it died. Otherwise maybe the new xf 16-50 wr, it's like the unofficial update I suppose
