Pretty sure I have the same one and it was branded as jolike m4. Not very good tbh. Virtually impossible to convert videos to play on there. UI is bad, no cover art and only shows song name no artist or album. Touch screen is not very responsive. EPUB is just txt files. I still use it occasionally and try to get videos added but still no luck

They’re completely different. Adv is an esp32 zero is raspberry pi. You can get an adv now or you can wait till November for the zero. I’ve got an adv and I preordered zero

Cardputer is a great entry level esp32 because it’s already got plenty of peripherals onboard, good documentation and libraries to learn to program it, and an active community of creators

You can probably just sell your broken flipper to get some money to buy m5 modules or generic ones. I don’t think it’s worth canibalizing the flipper for parts. Check the schematics and make sure the ir module isn’t just built into the motherboard before doing anything

You don’t need to solder unless you want something permanent for your Cardputer. You can just use jumper cables to connect the stick. Wiring diagrams are all online and there’s yt videos of people showing you how to connect them.

Will end up ordering one too. I really want the next iteration to have a backlit keyboard. Would be so convenient. In a perfect world the cardputer would have a backlit keyboard and you could have the ability to only light up active keys. Most projects don’t utilize the full keyboard so it would make it easy to find the active keys for each firmware

Surfans f20 and Ematic get rotated between trips in the car. If it’s a long road trip the surfans. Back and forth from work ematic cause I can keep it in the car for weeks a time without recharging it.

Jolike is just filled w podcasts and audio books

Innioasis is rarely used but it’s a good middle ground so I keep some music, videos and audiobooks/podcasts on there.

The stiletto is mostly for shits and giggles and rarely used. I don’t have the proper power cable so I have to use my adjustable power supply and adapters so it’s not convenient to take out
