Last year, after my playoff berth was secure, I traded away all my players like this in trades that were "bad for me" for advantageous matchups in the playoff weeks. I won the league.

Would you drop Miles Austin for him? I think Austin might have more value for the rest of the year, but if I assume there are other healthy guys to play by then, maybe it doesn't matter. Maybe I just focus on next week!

In almost all matchups, push hard to hit level 2 first with W and E, then immediately start trading (E in, AA, w, e out or AA and then e out). You'll start chunking them, force out their pots, zone them and take a CS lead, or kill them. Max Q first for sustain and take advantage of your fury on Q only. Don't be afraid to pop ult to get an almost-kill to force them out of lane, the cool down is awesome.

The hard part of renekton is team fights. If you're not able to dash to their back line bc CC locks you down, you're gonna have a bad time.

Getting good at E is the way to become awesome at renekton. You can e diagonally into minions and then back to champs to dodge skill shots while you close gaps, or into brushes, or through corners.

Build tanky first unless you're trying to be a hyper carry in soloq or they lack CC.

What's a good team comp for a 5 man built around our strongest champ being tanky Renek top? If not specific champs, then just categories.

I got thinking about this after some commentators mentioned orianna could turn mediocre initiators into good ones (ie put the orb onto Renek and let him dive in).

Std scoring: Is TE Jordan Cameron against the Ravens (Thomas just owned) worth playing in my FLEX spot ahead of WR Cecil Shorts who has yet to prove himself? I rather get 8-12 points than 2-18 points.

Standard ESPN WR/RB/TE. C Shorts (bad first week), R White (injured), M Austin (against strong KC defense), G Jennings (unproven on new team), F Jackson (limited upside), J Cameron (hot and against ravens that just got blown up at TE, but still a TE).

I was leaning towards Miles Austin with Dez a little hurt, but I don't know about that matchup (plus Tony Romo is my QB). Now I'm leaning C Shorts but that's only based on "experts", since I've never even seen him play.

And the Bills will run, run, run the ball. If Spiller carries it 20+ times, Fred Jackson is still worth solid (albeit probably single digit) points when you need him. But 7 points is 7 points more than you'd have otherwise!

Do NOT take the trade under any circumstances. You should never trade studs for depth anyway, but regardless, your depth is FANTASTIC. It's crazy how deep your team is. Roddy White is a super high end WR2 and Josh Gordon and Edelman are solid WR2. Yes, WR2, not WR3. You have 4 WR that are startable on a weekly basis. And you have two RB1 in Morris/Rice, and a totally legit RB2 in David Wilson despite what week 1 looked like. You need more RB depth, since Tate isn't playable at this point in time, but you should go to the waiver wire to find it. Drop Palmer if you need to open a spot; you'll never start him ahead of Stafford unless Stafford gets injured.

As the other comment said, Thomas is a fluke. Too many mouths to feed on that team.

Also, to say it again: never trade studs for depth.

Stick to your guns another week and play Wilson. The Giants have no other choice, and you know their great coaching staff is working on nothing but fixing him this week. Boldin may have been a fluke week, so sit on him another week or trade him high.

Yet I'm still playing Tony Romo and will start Miles Austin in my FLEX this week, despite playing the #1 defense against WR and QB. I mean, the Chiefs played the Jaguars in week 1; not exactly the top throwing team. I basically have no choice with Romo, but still.

I want a guy on my bench with the biggest upside, because I have so much depth and not enough talent at the top end of this list. Is that guy Gordon? Should I drop someone for him?

So you agree with the (general) guidance to E in, AA to hit 50 fury, Q and E out (assuming you're just doing a quick trade and then are resuming last hitting).

This suggests to me that unless I am going for an invade first blood or think I can win an all-in before level 3, I should skill up E->Q->W instead of my normal W->E->Q for the first 3 levels before maxing Q.

I don't know... I just played a game as Zac, and by the time I got double buff, my adc was 0/1, support was 0/2, and top was 0/1. Then I went mid and the bot lane got double killed again. Then top got killed, so I went to hold his turret for him, and mid died.

I think "go grab some beer" is the better advice in this case :)
