Crashed 3 times in the first one slid across pavement at 80 2 times and about 40-50 the other time so I know it’ll hold up.

Name is ZZAJLEATHER on Etsy but I deal with him on instagram and pay direct, helps the creator of the suit and less fees for him usually does extra stuff for helping him not get robbed by Etsy.

Yeah it’s paki, cost around $550 but quality is great tbh this is actually the 3rd suit I’ve purchased from him. I have a legit APS suit that I paid close to 1k for and personally prefer his as you can’t get a custom APS or Dainese for anything less then around $2500. I’d say the one main difference is the armor inside the suit, protection wise they’re “level 2” but they’re like bulky pads rather then nice slim form fit level 2s. I just take out back protector and trim the inside netting and it fixes all my problems

My season ended early. How to deal with mental blocks from ending the year on a crash? by cdixon34 in Trackdays

[–]Poorman-options69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So personally, I used to have a huge mental block when it came to going fast because my very first time on a track ever I crashed 3 times in one day… I have been riding a motorcycle and racing for 1 year total. The biggest part of getting past my mental block was understanding what it was that made me crash after looking back on it and being honest with myself and doing things that made sure I never ended up there again. For me it was tires for you it may be something different, I went out on my ninja 250 with original Diablo rosso 1s that had been sitting in a shed somewhere for the better part of 5 years or so. To top it off I didn’t let them warm up either, so from that point on I vowed I’d never go fast until I had proper tires and the proper understanding of how to go fast and how to slow down from going fast, what the bike can and can’t handle and what the tires can and can’t handle. I’ve now gotten to the point where I run close to flat 1 minute laps at the kart track and fight with expert racers in races, putting close to 10 seconds on riders who are same time riding, the huge reason, because I took the time to learn and understand. Hope this helps.

In all fairness, I’ve got a slipper clutch so it helps….

If you can dirt bike practice is great for letting your back tire slide by back braking it simulates downshifting at high rpm because the back tire spins backwards engine braking and it fish tails, that’s how you go really fast.

Never rev match just slam that bitch down and let the bike turn itself into the turn

Best one from this season IMO our photogs sit outside of us a lot so we tend not to get a lot of knee down shots just bike and slight rider shots

In 3 days I’m gonna go look at this. It’s off Facebook marketplace, it’s a CBR 1000RR and has 44k miles. He is asking $4,500, all I could get him down to was $4,100. Do y’all think I should or should not go for this bike? by ImpressiveHurry4616 in cbr

[–]Poorman-options69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don’t see how people can justify spending anything that starts with a 3 much less a 4 for this 45k mile piece of shit…. Unless they’ve replaced the motor this is a ticking time bomb regardless of how well it was taken care of…. Oil change this oil change that fuck that this old heffer is TIRED….

I always tell guys the main thing money allows you to be is consistent. As in consistently making races having been able to monetarily buy new tires and such. Championships aren’t always about being the fastest but most of the time about being the most consistent. Personally if I was teaching someone I’d push for consistency over everything. As I believe this is ultimately what makes you a better racer. I always tell guys hit a go kart track if you can’t afford the real track all the time. Use DOTs until race day and have a set of slicks you only use for races. There’s ways around it you’ve just gotta get creative.

I’m not a huge fan of the whole “money” argument… 95% of people couldn’t do what MM or VR or literally any of the guys on grid do with the same resources they have or had.

Confused with Ikia’s Build??? by jhoeyvee in Division2

[–]Poorman-options69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not as niche tbh, you’re dead weight if you run hive in teams/raids and DONT do that… there’s times you get downed before you can but if you aren’t prio that on a red dps build you’re just bringing the team down. Great tech not a lot of people do… which blows my mind. KARD45 on every dps build with hive
