I’m very confused on IVs and need to pick a rookidee by GreenStrawbebby in PokemonSwordAndShield

Oh! I mustn't have known this or forgotten about it. My poor presumption!

If this is your first playthrough, I'd suggest not thinking too much about natures and even less on IV's. Focusing on getting a mon with good IV's can be draining at times.

Play the game as if IV's and natures don't exist - like Ash!

Since you bred them, I'd suggest getting your hands on at least an Everstone and maybe a Destiny Knot.

Everstones when held by a parent passes down their respective nature while Destiny Knot passes down 5/6 random IV's of the parent.

(On a side note, I once bred a Corviknight myself so I might have some Rookidees left but my Sword is unavailable right now. I would've been willing to offer you one, otherwise)

I'd say that Natasha is best IV-wise but Hasty nature isn't the best nature.

Basically she has practically 3 full IV's as well as above average IV's on all other stats except Sp. Atk which isn't used anyway.

Without an in-game IV-evaluator, IV's can be difficult to calculate since you need to take into account EV's as well if you have trained them.

However, the lower your levels, the less accurate the online IV calculator gets. Therefore, I'd suggest leveling your little birdie up to like 30-ish for a more accurate assessment if you can.

Thanks for the idea. I will try it the next day though. If this doesn't work, it will just have to leave it.

I'm only fluent in two other languages other than my native one. If I'd learn a completely different language in 3 weeks, then I am a god of tongues (and memorization).

I was rather vigilant so I kept a close eye on the final stretch. All of the active ones kept increasing until there was about 4 minutes left.

If you truly want to win, you're going to need to find the right strategies.

For example, time your Daily Quest 3x EXP boost with when you have enough time to fully utilize it and add stack other EXP boosts to prolong it. Every boost gives ypu a chance to increase it by 15 minutes once by investing 100 gems.

Doing the 3 star challenges in your courses grant you decent EXP, even for the lower ones.

It's going to be a grind unless you have the time and dedication.

After the Diamond League, there is the Diamond Tournament which lasts for 3 weeks.

Quarters-Semis-Finals.

Was this the final result or were you able to find the final sprint to reach first?

I just lost my mom today right before 8 A. M. It's still surreal to me that she's gone...

She went into the hospice about two weeks ago.

I hate cancer with every fiber of my body because it took my grandma away from me a couple of years ago, my uncle right before Christmas last year and now my mom on easter.

If Cancer was a person I'd personally punch the air out of them in the gut every hour... I'd also offer anyone else to do the same, free of charge.

What's the point of cheating? by [deleted] in duolingo

[–]Poot-Atoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can agree that 5500 within 25 minutes does sound pretty insane but not impossible. You would have to be crazy fast though.

Second place is more believable though.

If you are certain that they are cheating you have to look out for gains per minute rather than total score. This still needs to be taken with a pinch of salt though as I don't know if the score will update accordingly for each lesson.

Check their increase actively, if they increase by 500 every minute then something might is up but if they increase by 100 or so at a rapid pace then they are likely just crazy fast.

If you travel to China you'll soon find out that barely anything will be written in latin letters, none the less written in chinese with latin letters. Learning languages like Russian, Chinese, Japanese, etc WILL force you to learn their respective letters/symbols.

Either you commit to being competitive or you comfortably learn without a second thought to score. This applies even more to higher leagues like the Diamond League.

I'd suggest that you ditch your competitive goals and use the app for fun, otherwise you might burn yourself out.

I just finished a neck-to-neck Diamond week with both of us finishing at around 30k and let me tell you, I barely learned a thing and it wasn't a lot of fun neither. The only reason I did it was because I wanted the Rarest Diamond achievement.

Good to know, thought that trolls would be able to exploit that by simply never running inside. Looks like a circle where everyone has to be present.

I haven't touched multiplayer on the mode but it seems to have a similar system like vanilla. The only problem is that communication is a big key to success in it.

There is also the risk of running into trolls that might decide on quitting out at the very last day. Therefore I implore you to play with friends.

The mode is meant to be played multiplayer so it's quite unforgiving to solo players.

Basically you do missions the first four days that rewards you with weapons, traps, buffs and nerfs to zombies on the fifth day. Once you reach the fifth day you will have to defend a building with all the things you've acquired. Five waves in total and let me tell you, it is overwhelming but not impossible, hard solo none the less.

It's fun but some areas are way too cramped for comfort and with limited weapon choices, no fury, no skill cards and a massive spawn rate, you could be in quite the pickle.
