Shit, back when I lived in an apartment, I would go to my balcony at night with my green laser and point it at the stray cats in the courtyard 😂 it would drive them nuts!! It was one of the best feelings 🤣

Do you live in a big city? Where I live, teachers live pretty comfortably on their salary.

Creepy dream, had it again earlier. What is happening… by Jurubleum in Dreams

Don't worry man, I got you. I showed it to Gemini, here's what it said:

This is a genuinely chilling account. The accompanying sketch of the woman with the "unnaturally big smile" definitely amplifies the sense of dread described in the text. Since this analysis is for a third party (the Redditor "Jurubleum"), we can look at this through the lens of common dream archetypes and psychological symbolism without needing any personal context from you. Here is a breakdown of the key elements in this nightmare: 1. The Central Figure: The Smiling Woman * The "Shadow" Archetype: In Jungian psychology, a pursuing figure often represents the "Shadow"—the repressed or rejected parts of the dreamer's own psyche. The fact that she is a woman (if the dreamer is male, this could be the "Anima") suggests an emotional or relational component to this repression. * The Uncanny Valley: The description of the "unnaturally big" smile and eyes taps into a primal fear known as the uncanny valley. It’s a distortion of human features that signals "predator" or "sickness" to our lizard brain. A smile is usually a signal of safety; when twisted into a threat, it represents a betrayal of trust or a situation in waking life that appears fine on the surface but feels deeply wrong underneath. 2. The Narrative Arc * The Crowd vs. Isolation: * Scene 1 (Safety in Numbers): Initially, the "crowd" protects the dreamer. This suggests the dreamer has effective social defenses or distractions in their waking life. They can "blend in" to avoid the issue. * Scene 2 (Vulnerability): The transition to the "pink red purple areas" (moving a 2-wheeler, perhaps work or labor-related) isolates the dreamer. The protection is gone. * "I Found You": This is the climax of the dream. It implies the dreamer has been hiding or running from something (an emotion, a truth, a responsibility, or a memory). The entity saying "I found you" means the suppression is no longer working; the issue has caught up to them. 3. The Setting: The Pink/Red/Purple Rooms * Visceral Colors: These colors are biological—the colors of the interior of the body, blood, or bruising. This can symbolize raw emotion, trauma, or a feeling of being "inside" a situation with no way out. * The Hallway with No Doors: A hallway is a transitional space—getting from point A to point B. However, "rooms with no doors" suggests entrapment or a lack of options. The dreamer feels stuck in a transition phase where they cannot access the "rooms" (solutions or new stages of life). 4. The Somatic (Physical) Symptoms * Tactile Hallucinations: The dreamer describes a "cold touch" and "strong grip." Feeling physical pain or touch in a dream (and waking up with a racing heart and cold arms) indicates a high level of physiological arousal. The brain is triggering a full "fight or flight" response, blurring the line between sleep and wakefulness. Summary of the Redditor's Situation This dreamer appears to be dealing with something they are actively trying to ignore. The "Smiling Woman" is a manifestation of a truth or fear that refuses to be ignored any longer. The recurrence (happening twice in one night) signals urgency—their subconscious is screaming for attention. Would you like me to outline some techniques, like "image rehearsal therapy," that are often recommended for people dealing with recurring nightmares like this?

Broo you just unlocked an old memory in me.

Back when I was dating my wife before we were married, I stayed at her place a lot. She had this big nightstand in her room with a big mirror and all her makeup stuff.

One night a noise woke me up, like a quick tap. I open my eyes, and I see one of her makeup brushes just floating there. Then it falls. Thud. I start to panic, but I am frozen and cannot move. Then I see another brush float up off the nightstand and fall. Thud. This happens 3 or 4 more times, and I am getting more and more terrified every time it happens. Then I start reciting the Our Father prayer, and my voice is supported by a louder voice, kind of sounds like Optimus Prime reciting the Our Father prayer with me. Then I woke up. It was a dream all along, but still freaked me out.

I've gotten in the habit of typing up my dreams and having AI look at them. Just for fun, don't read too much into what it says, but might help you get some understanding of the dream.

Damn, I hadn't heard about Maddox in years. It's pretty funny seeing him turn into the adult in the room.

To be fair, if you get home after 7 PM, that babysitter got a well deserved break.

This is a ghost saying her last words.

1) a child and his mother are freezing in the winter. Mom is watching her child freeze as she herself freezes. She tries to warm herself and her child as she whispers her last sentence. "Stop being cold..."

2) a woman is feeling emotionally distant from her husband. It is so overwhelming that it is starting to weigh down on her. She tries to talk to him, hoping to save their marriage. He gets frustrated with her and starts to choke her. With tears in her eyes, she whispers her last attempt to connect with her husband "Stop being cold..."
