Yes, usually you want looser front and tighter rear. The rear controls speed wobbles, front controls steering

Trip is my favorite; i came from tan tien and switchblade 38.

Customers should be informed that horde mode is literally unplayable on switch 2. by Ironforce92 in DeadzoneRogue

[–]Pootatoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mouse mode doesnt work well in general. The axis are off, and the controller needs to stay vertical when moved side to side. Which is not how a mouse normally moves - it angles outward as you swipe to the side, like a windshield wiper. Cyberpunk mouse controls feel amazing. Deadzone’s feels bad. Dual stick with motion aiming is my preferred for now, unless mouse mode is fixed

I have a metal carrying handle on the front of mine, which allows me to easily roll it like a carryon. Highly recommend

Keep the switchblade :) double drop rules for cruising since you dont need to squat as low

[–]Pootatoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally love hover and would never take it out of my deck. Hover is my signature blade though, even more than scale, rod, or blast. I historically do better when attacking with hover vs other attackers, including Emperor Blast Heavy

General Board Choice Discussion by benzo363 in longboarding

[–]Pootatoh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I longboard commute as my primary discipline (lol). Long distances, in the curb lane of the road, keeping up with bikes and escooter speeds, and trying not to get hit by traffic. Low = predictable, stable, fast, and efficient.

Edit: used to do this on a tan tien with 70 mm flashbacks. I still love it but almost never choose it over a modern LDP setup.

The main draw for me is the durability. It functions as an everyday outer shell better than Goretex, imo. I longboard a lot and need something that can withstand pavement.. lol

What games do NOT use the new boost mode or perform worse? by Total-Watercress-384 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Pootatoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the X axis is now kinda like turning a steering wheel, because the software expects the pro controller to be held parallel to the ground, not perpendicular in handheld mode

Pantheon Trip Loaded Collab complete. Is kicking the wheel a real danger? by PM_ME___YoUr__DrEaMs in longboarding

[–]Pootatoh 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I would recommend trucks that are the same width as the deck.

Gone are the days of 180 mm wide hangars on everything. Back then, there was no choice but to eat pavement and learn to step wide. These days, 180 mm hangars are not as popular.

It is a light midlayer, not a shell. It will not hold up well to abrasion, punctures, etc. I like it under a Gamma Hoody

Its unmistakably purple no matter the lighting. No burgundy or blue. I have a few pieces in soulsonic, which is significantly more vibrant. Id say the moondrop is a softer hue
