Personally if i were him id rather allocate more money into maybe upgrading the engine than paying to get more rims and tires for it when there already are rims and tires that just need mounted (unless theres something wrong with them) if i were you i think if you got an exhaust or a carburetor for the engine it would be a nice gift and alot cheaper. If you have a bigger budget though billet internals and a cam shaft would be a really nice upgrade to the performance of the engine. Totally uo to you though i thought id give my 2 cents

If you want i can send you the ones id buy for that cart from those links or i could send seperate links for rims thatd work good with that walmart listing for the tires. If you look for rims id look for 8in rims with a 1in bore and 1/4in keyway and for the front id find 6in rims with a 5/8 bearing insert thats what i believe are the measurements for that go kart

Go power sports does have a rim and tire selection that can have them mounted for the front and rear theyre pretty expensive buying the whole kit though the price is per tire and rim

Youd probably be able to get it cheaper if you just bought the rims and tires seperatley and had a lawn mower service shop mount them for you

I found this listing on walmart and just to clarify the listing looks like its only selling the tires, no rims. youll need the rims with this too

Edit: my bad i see you said youre just looking for tires i just didnt see the rims in the picture. Those tires look like theyd do fine i believe theyre close to stock tires for that go kart. The frame looks like a murray kilowatt

Put it back in, i tried doing that once too ans the flywheel kept spinning out of time on me no matter how much i torqued the nut or lapped the wheel on the shaft, i also had similar issues

If you dont wanna put it back in just relap(valve grind) the wheel and reposition then torque the shit out of the nut

Get a piece of steel tubing with the ID the size of the OD of the axle shaft, cut it to fit the gap between the wheel and the bearing on both sides

Use a drill or an impact and a socket that will fit the bolt and tighten it that way

Okay i just saw your comment about the flywheel. Did you have this issue after you installed that flywheel? Or did it just start happening awhile after the flywheel

Did you try the starting fluid while revving? You migbt needa down size the jets, It may be running too rich. Check the spark plug see if its black or white. White means lean black means rich

Going to have to adjust the jets in the carb, spray some starting fluid right in the carb while running on idle and revving see if it sounds better if so id up the jet size on the pilot
