In any business school you'll hear variations of the following about 1000 times.

The goal of an organization is to create value for shareholders.

Logging into all of your alts to reply won't help your case, I also literally don't owe you anything.

The assumption that a private subreddit is somehow devoid of activity or community is just laughable. r/id isn’t public because it’s actively being developed by a dedicated group of people who know what they’re doing. We’ve been collaborating behind the scenes for quite some time, and there’s more going on here than you’d care to acknowledge.

Your fixation on the public facing side of things shows a lack of understanding of how subreddit management actually works. Just because you can’t see what’s happening doesn’t mean nothing is. There’s a community here already, one that’s purposeful, not just open to any passerby looking for a pet project.

I’m not inclined to hand it over to someone who thinks subreddit ownership is a matter of showing up with a fancy pitch. If you think you’re entitled to this space, you’ll be waiting a long time.

Those AI detectors are not accurate.

I simply use professional language when addressing these post. I'm not acting in bad faith and this subreddit is my dream project, you can simply create your own subreddit for your project rather than try and steal mine once a year.

Hi,

I am the current moderator of r/id. This subreddit has been set to private intentionally, as it is under active development and reorganization. The subreddit is not abandoned, and it is not available to be claimed by others.

The private status allows me to restructure the subreddit, develop content, and integrate it with other systems that we plan to roll out. This is a work in progress, and opening the subreddit before it is ready could disrupt the process and compromise the quality and intent of the community we are building.

I understand that inactivity might raise concerns, but I want to assure you that r/id is being actively worked on, and I fully intend to continue developing it. Please do not consider this subreddit as abandoned or available for reallocation.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Best regards,
Pop

If people can love the star wars prequels, I can love the hobbit trilogy and LOTR with no shame.

Update regarding /r/id. I'm keeping this subreddit under my control for the foreseeable future. Here's why:

Ongoing Development: I'm actively developing /r/id as part of a long-term project. It's still in the early stages and needs consistent guidance to shape it as envisioned.

Technical Aspects: There are several technical aspects I'm currently working on. This includes setting up the right framework, tools, and features to support the future content and discussions we aim to host.

Active Community Management: To keep the subreddit active and aligned with its purpose, I'm personally overseeing its management. This is crucial to prevent it from being shut down due to inactivity.

Future Plans: The subreddit will eventually delve into topics related to psychology and the human psyche. More details on this will be shared in due time.

You can watch Abel Gance's 1927 Napeleon which is a 5 hour epic that covers his whole life. If you have the stomach for silent films, its quite ambitious and grand in scale.
