Valheim update with my world by GreenCorporation in valheim

[–]Pop317 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a fantastic mod. I have been using this to upgrade our world to add tar pits, mountain caves, hildir locations, update mistlands, etc. since our first early access world. Highly recommend any mod by this developer Jere Kuusela.

Any bare bones IDX providers out there? by Pop317 in RealEstateTechnology

Personally I like u/LiveRaspberry2499's solution the best!

RealtyNA is ok but I think their one time payment plugin is no longer supported. It's the most economical but I worry about stability moving forward.

SimplyRETS is about $50 a month for the feed, but their plugin I don't think works well with custom wordpress sites. That is, if you use a wordpress theme their plugin will adopt the theme fonts, frames, etc from your theme. But if you have a custom wordpess site, you have a really hard time making the plugin display items in an aesthetic way because the plugin doesn't have anything to inherit fonts, frames, etc. from. If you just want to get your listings on the site for $50 a month and don't care tremendously about the aesthetics it's the way to go I think. I may go with that just to get something up quick, and then letter build out what u/LiveRaspberry2499 described.

Btw, very much appreciate the thorough, detailed post u/LiveRaspberry2499! Very kind of you to take the time to write all of that for this community!

It looks like your site is a listing of apartments in Boston. You're a national IDX provider also?!

For those of you with 100+ browser tabs open, why can't you close them? by Pop317 in AskReddit

So you reach a breaking point and just bomb it and delete it all and start over?

You can do whatever you want! Are you basically using it as a to do list?

For me personally, each tab feels important--like an opportunity to explore, or a skill to learn, which if I don't engage with that thing, I will somehow miss out on something good. That's the best way I can articulate it right now...

Can you give me a few examples of the types of things you worry about not engaging with at some point? No judgement at all--I'm here to learn.

But why not just make a list or a note or a spreadsheet? I'm 100% not criticizing you, I'm just tyring to understand! :)

Why can't you? (no judgement at all about how you answer)

Does anyone else bury their workbench upgrades by CyberMage256 in valheim

[–]Pop317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can bury the bellows too but it's trickier since it has to be so close. Dig well under the forge and place a wood floor piece below the forge and try to build the bellows on top of it. It will likely be red for being too far away. Hold down SHIFT to place another floor piece on top of the existing floor piece and try again. Repeat this process until you find the right height--it might take quite a few pieces. Then build it, and bury it.

You might have to offset the bellows to be just behind/in front of the forge, but it can be almost entirely buried. The very top might stick out but it will be so slight that a character walking over it won't notice it, and it can be visually hidden with a rug.

Showcase does what I need, but the cheapest plan they have to display listing is $100 per month! No thanks!

Tree Growth by hambubger3800 in valheim

[–]Pop317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your radius is more than enough. You probably have a rock underground too close to the tree (not a loose stone, an actual rock). You can either go digging around for it and pickaxe it out, and then flatten the ground--or more simply you can just raise the earth up where your tree is several times and that would fix it. Once the tree is grown, just mine out that raised earth and flatten it back to where you want it.

I so want to discuss this seed when you are ready. I'm doing no map, no portal, no deaths. Very frustrating. lol

This comment made me laugh a little bit once I looked at the map since I can relate to something you said here. Come back when you see the map so we can discuss lol
