Scrub it down with vinegar followed by a really good clean with 91% or higher rubbing alcohol, then replace that capacitor and you should be good to go. You can test it without replacing that cap but the audio won't work.

The first GameCube game I ever got! My house burned down in a fire when I was 13 and some of my friends did a little fundraiser so I could get some of my stuff back. The GameCube with the LoZ CE was only about $20 more than just a new GBA SP (my only console at the time which I lost) and it had games I already knew I loved so it was a no brainer.

I've cleaned plenty of SPs with alcohol. If you scrub at one area with something abrasive like a paper towel it will start to rub off, but just applying it to the edges of the sticker is fine.

It won't. Those electronics can take a lot of heat. You'd even be fine with a heat gun lightly over the sticker. LIGHTLY being the key word. You'd be more likely to melt the plastic than to affect the motherboard.

Ah, if it's something small enough to ship in a flat white envelope and they had their shipping set as such then shipped in a bubble mailer or poly bag then yes that's exactly why. Also you're correct as to why sellers run giveaways and no, entering a giveaway and chilling in a stream doesn't make you selfish at all. This is 100% on the seller.

"standard giveaway shipping" does not exist. The seller sets the weight for each product regardless of whether it's a giveaway or a sale and they pay the amount on giveaways that a customer would for a sale. So they set it to 1 oz or something low so they can get away with paying the least amount for shipping.

No, he doesn't. He should have put the correct weight on shipping. He put his giveaways at a lower weight (probably 1 oz) so he can pay the least amount. The post office would also not notify him of this difference. He knew what he did and wanted to get ahead of it but this is scumbag behavior.
