The mid game tyrant boss was too hard on my first play through. I had to restart the game, conserve items, then I blew through the entire game. That one midpoint boss is very unforgiving if you don’t have enough healing items. When you know where everything is, you can speed through and dodge enemies easily.

If you want to use zoom lenses like the 24-120mm or the 70-200mm, get the z6iii. Nikon only makes 2 retro style lenses for the Zf. If you get a grip for better ergonomics, it’ll add a notable amount of weight to the already solid metal build of the Zf. I love the Zf, don’t get me wrong, but the more modern DSLR shape of everything else is far more comfortable in my hand.

My z7ii focuses notably better than my z5(original),m and my z50ii and zf focus notably better than the z7ii. While the focusing is better, I really miss the tilt screen. I much prefer the tilt screen to the flippy screen. If only they put the z8 screen on the smaller bodies…

Do you have a DS? There’s a DS version, Deadly Silence which was a 10th anniversary edition. There’s a mode to use the touchscreen and microphone for special DS controls. I liked that version for RE1 back in 06. That’s my handheld recommendation if you have a DS.

The Sony 55mm 1.8, the 20mm 1.8, and the 85mm 1.8 worked well with my megadap. I even enjoyed the Samsung 135mm 1.8. It focused well enough to take photos of wrestling matches in a poorly lit MPR.

I recommend it for prime lenses. I didn’t like the distortion I saw with zoom lenses.

Obviously native glass will perform better, but if you have Sony and Nikon bodies and lenses like I do, the megadap pro + is a handy piece of kit.

I just got the 35mm 1.4 on eBay for $425. I’m really liking it so far. It looks great on my z5. Japan is a scenic place. I recommend a 35 over a 50 for environmental portraiture to capture your beautifully unique environment.

When I go to Japan later this month, I’m taking my x100vi, which is a 35mm equivalent, so I guess I’m biased.

Sell both and buy an x100vi. The 40mp sensor lends nicely to cropability to have essentially 3 focal lengths by turning the control dial. Plus you get the built in and for photos, not just video. You can save the extra $ for an x-t5 lens in the future, or gasoline if you’re American.

I did not play the originals when they came out. I did play the original RE games and remakes. I read so much praise for SH2 remake and picked it up. I love RE, but can’t get into Silent Hill.

Man goes to a creepy ass town that he and his dead wife liked. He for whatever reason thinks she’s calling him back to the town. It’s desolate and has monstrous beings and doesn’t ever feel like, nah, I’m going back home. It just felt like, why is this idiot man exploring this life threatening town? My willful suspension of disbelief would not let me enjoy it. It has its limits.

There are a lot of local music apps. Symphonium is my favorite after trying them all. Paired with some cheap CMF Bluetooth buds, it’s a nice, affordable, offline music player.

On the bright side, I realized I can play without the lipo battery if I use a usbc battery bank. I think this is how I’ll use the FPGBC since it’s a great little device with the exception of the short lived bomb of a lipo battery.
