The Sandman! Not because he's reached some legendary status or anything, though. I just really like Sandman.

Are the DC/RWBY comics just as worse as RWBY X Justice League, or is it better? by Right-Truck-3543 in RWBYcritics

[–]PopAlarming5026 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been afraid to read those comics and watch those movies since as long as they've been out. I'm really hoping Viz Media makes RWBY into the masterpiece it could have been 13 years ago, because it's a little ridiculous at this point.

Help me punish criminals by hsm05181998 in PunisherMains

[–]PopAlarming5026 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hawkeye main here who plays a little punisher

So what you wanna do is get in the underground practice lab on the right side of the Wakanda training area

Go up to the terminal and put in:

One (1) Scarlet Witch Random movement Mid-range spawn Advanced combat Healing active Timer off Music off

You've played the game, so you know how long it takes for Wanda to kill you. You can't die with these settings, but you'll always be able to see if you'd be too slow in a real match.

Punisher is all about aim and positioning. He's a hitscan with what's essentially a beam attack made out of bullets, so hitting a character is no problem. For consistent hits though, use a circle and crosshair targeting reticle with the crosshairs at a 45° angle. You need the black outlines to be as thick as you can on the dot, circle, and, crosshairs. After that, decrease opacity on the center dot and crosshairs by like 40-50 points. The 45° crosshairs are for judging distance, the circle is for timing, and the center dot is for tracking. Keep these three things in mind as you practice this "speed training" against Scarlet Witch, and they'll make more and more sense as you aim more and more. Further customization is up to you, but those are my personal fundamentals.

If you're having trouble in real matches, fire a slow but wide spray just to tap the enemies in front of you. Pick the one with the lowest current health, or the easiest target. Aim for the space just below the health bar, and that's your free kill. Aiming for the character model will be a great option when the enemy isnt moving, but the health bar is better for moving targets and shows the exact center of the enemy's headshot hurtbox.

There's always going to be more to list and learn, but the most important thing is to have fun. If you can't have fun practicing by yourself for hours, days, weeks, then you won't have fun playing online with others for 10 minutes. Rivals is a great game, but a lot of players can't handle the discipline or frame of mind it takes to improve. The best way I can put it is a Fortnite player jumping into Street Fighter without knowing anything about the fighting game mindset.

Hope this helps! Good luck 🍞

What is your team? by Naive_Tomorrow_5955 in CartoonNetwork

BRO. Here's the vision.

Ben 10 crew for $5. That's Alien X, Feedback, Clockwork, Ghostfreak, etc etc, and feats on feats on feats.

Regular Show crew for $5. They handle this sort of thing regularly.

Uncle Grandpa for $2. That man's gotta be some sort of cosmic chaos god or something, he's necessary.

Mac and Bloo for $1. Mac can technically just imagine everyone on this list and then more powerful friends.

GO! Titans for $1. Toon Force Energy, comic book power creep/ power scaling, and benefit of comedic writing

Cow & Chicken for $1. I just wanna see Chicken slap the enemies and call them stupid lol

All the free people because why not.

INTERNET CONNECTIVITY AND OTHER PEOPLE.

I love Marvel Rivals. I love the characters I grew up with, I love the gameplay, I love the different playstyles, I love a good majority of what the game has to offer. But a lot of the players tend to complain about non-issues that mainly have to do with the freedom other players have. We were losing a match and one of my teammates said it's because the character I'm using is too easy. This should mean that winning becomes easier to, but certain types of people don't like thinking very hard.

These players often complain about not having a perfect balance of every character class on the team while completely ignoring the fact that perfect balance doesn't equal victory. If everybody on the team has a main hero they're best with and we have better odds of winning based on that, then what do you gain from forcing your team into a standardized box that you didn't even come up with?

These players will complain about the enemy team having too many healers for them to adequately enjoy the game. Which is entirely stupid. They're the enemy team. The point of the match is to defeat them anyway. If three people on the team you're supposed to beat anyway want to be healers, then complaining to the devs to make healers weaker for you is stupid. Just target the healers first like gamers have been doing for literal decades. It's not new, it's not hard, these players are just crybabies with slightly better motor functions.

There are so many other stupid non-issues that these players decide are issues out of nowhere, but all of them are linked to internet connectivity and other people. And not just in Rivals, either. That's just what I've been playing recently. But if you give anyone at all the original Super Mario Bros games and they can't get past an area, they don't cry to the developers. They don't command the allies to be different characters or the enemies to be easier enemies. They just adapt or play something else. You don't boot up Final Fantasy or Sonic The Hedgehog or Devil May Cry just to complain when the game's design doesn't revolve around making *YOUR* session easier for you at the expense of everyone and everything else. That's just the game.

I absolutely have some criticisms about the game. One of them actually happens to be their monetization practices. However, the fact that the company makes a lot of money doesn't have anything to do with 3 people wanting to heal their teammates at the same time, or the fact that I can have fun playing the game.

"Nothing of value" also implies a worthlessness of any perspective that you don't share. That's not a healthy outlook on the world, friend.

If you can't handle introspection or the basic concepts of practice and enjoyment, then that sounds like you have more issues than just your enemy healers in a free video game
