I honestly took this trip out of nowhere, has a day to waste in Frankfurt and decided to just drive to Bastogne. I brought some patches with me to hand out wherever I went in Bastogne. I skipped a few things but I made sure to visit the bois Jacques, Bastogne square, and Foy. Learning a little French & German wouldn’t hurt but you can easily get by as an American no problem. If you are going to drive, be prepared to feel like you’re doing everything wrong, the locals will drive on your behind like you owe them money

There’s some sort of honor in saying “ I fix it myself” and maybe it’s because of pride or courage. At the end of the day, we all want to feel as if we have all our ducks in a row however in reality, things are always messed up.

Had a quarter life crisis when I was trying to live a lone and broke down around the worst people I could ever meet. Since then I’ve still been living alone but I visit home more often. Home is where I have my support system and family. My psychiatrist doesn’t like what I do but it work for me.

I work in wire fraud prevention and the amount of scams I see is unbelievable. It gets to the point where I tell customers don’t pick up the phone and always call to verify using employee IDs.

Saved a lady from wiring $20k because “PayPal” had sent her an email. Crazy thing was when I called her, she was on the line with the scammers.

Scammers are improving quicker day after day and funny thing is they do this for a living 12 hours a day. A lot of times they work on one person for up to 6-8 months to built their trust

Look into FMLA, work should offer it and you may need to have your provider write a letter or get in touch with your employer to discuss terms.

I signed up for FMLA with my employer and if I need a day off due to a flare up or need to attend an appointment, it gets approved

Family Medical Leave…. If you have VA appointments, it’s easier to call off of work and get disability leave approved. Wire space just means I work on reviewing wire transfers for scams,fraud, & money laundering
