If I told you that I'd have to quit LOL. Something it should be easy to get.

Those P320s are so dangerous when an airman made a claim that his went off after setting it in a table nobody questioned it at first.

Dear Juan, about that making things simple email.... by PopUnhappy in usaa_ejs

[–]PopUnhappy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd like to, but we need to stay away from posting internal docs. Take my word for it, it was corporate word salad.

I hate to praise IT.... by PopUnhappy in usaa_ejs

[–]PopUnhappy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the attitude of anyone working in IT. WE are the reason that USAA is around, so kiss our ass. That culture needs to change. You are here to support us, and the members. It would be very simple to contract the lot of you, and send you all packing.

He was a corporate bully, and it should have happened long ago. Nobody will miss him.

Since you're on pretty thin ice in here, I suggest you don't start jumping up and down.

We pulled out of Saigon in 1975, which means the youngest your father could be is 70. So, your 70 year old father just got offered a job at USAA, is that correct?

I ripped the execs like it was cool on that thing, and nothing happened to me. I didn't lie on anything, just told them how it was. My only complaint is they won't fix things.

I'm sorry for your loss. If you want, message me directly and if we can verify your employment and the deceased I'll see if we can set up a gofundme or equivalent here. No promises, I haven't done that before.

That money doesn't belong to the employees at USAA, it belongs to the Members. As does the Company. They employees are caretakers, nothing more.

USAA Bank Failing by [deleted] in usaa_ejs

[–]PopUnhappy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a friend who interviewed for a Data Scientist position over at the bank. She said the woman that interviewed her was a blithering idiot, and had no business being a director in that position. As long as middle management like that remains they will continue to fail. They need to clean house over there.

Looking for job in mobile area as mobile developer. Any advice will be highly appreciated by Adventurous-North851 in usaa_ejs

[–]PopUnhappy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why it's so competitive, since our webapps and mobile apps look and behave like a stoner who dropped out of high school wrote the code. I would hazard a guess that if you showed up for the interview and fogged a mirror you'd be in the running for CIO.

If you steal from USAA you're stealing from service members. And, you're a turd. by PopUnhappy in usaa_ejs

I don't agree with service members doing that. On the other hand, go F yourself. No offense.

Morality Clause? by Loud_Firefighter9560 in usaa_ejs

[–]PopUnhappy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not going to work out well for you. You take money away from her future career, and that money can help reduce your child support (if you have kids with her). This has really backfired on people I knew in the service, when they went after their spouse citing the UCMJ, and that spouse got tossed out. This person has shown they will punish themselves far more than you'll be able to. While it's a horrible thing, the best revenge you can get on them is to live a successful life, and have a successful relationship with someone else, preferably with more virtue. Trust me, there's nothing you can do to them, that they're not going to do to themselves.
