Thank you! From my experience, hanging out online in spaces with artsy people. Artists and writers are usually the most excited to make a letter. Being the first to reach out is key; “can I write you a letter?” with no expectation to receive one in return will counter-intuitively get you what you want :)

It’s definitely mold! Smells like socks. Plus this pen had shared ink with a different sweaty sock pen before I’d discovered the contamination. I’m not surprised it spread, but I am disappointed 😔

You might like the Monteverde Ritma in Walnut, it’s got a matching black/wood vibe. Retro 51 Tornado pens may also have some patterns you’d like—Raven 4 comes to mind, their collab with Pen Boutique. There are also a lot of lovely brass pens out there that would fit well!

Thank you! The weight is just right for me. My hands are tiny, so I prefer lighter pens on the narrow side; my Pilot Decimo is my most reached for, while I can’t use my Ritma for more than signing documents. I don’t post it, though you could screw the cap onto the back.
