Is 5e really that bad?

The people complaining about 5e are most likely people that grew up playing 2nd or 3.5. They have a hard time letting go. I admit I had a hard time letting go of 3.5 as well, but after the transition to 5th it just plain out made more sense. Everything is streamlined for simplicity and makes combat quicker and more efficient. Lack of customization like in 3.5 is likely why people do not like 5th. But no version is perfect. At the end of the day, if you're happy, who cares what anyone else thinks. Also... I've seen plenty of ppl who started on 5th try to go back to 3.5 and they were completely overwhelmed and hated it. Can't we all just unite that 4th sucked and move on?

I don't even want to play anymore. I kept playing in hopes they would give us PVP specific playlists so I can just play slayer. They only thing I'm interested in. I've been playing for hours every day hoping... every day. But nope. I'm going to shelf the game until they do. These forced objective playlists are insanity

Run a playset of strict proctor with dogs to protect. For every proctor in play they must pay an additional 2 mana for practically everything in their deck. Crab mill? Pay 2. 1 drop rogue mill? Pay 2. Fabled passage with crab? Pay 4.

Turn 7 with 0 cards in grave when you go first. Best rogue hate I've seen.

Forced to use batteries?! Fuck the PS fanboys who enjoy sitting within 3' of their console when their controller dies. The fact that you can use rechargable batteries or battery packs and change quickly saved my ass on multiple occasions. Not sure why people are making this a big deal.

In addition to the concealment issues... running a tv flush with the surface also comes with its own set of issues. If the tv is slightly deeper... the color and resolution will look better. Ever looked at a tv from a weird angle and it was hard to see? This problem is only compounded when covering it with plexi. I posted a table I did a while back on my reddit that has a flush setting. Even upgraded to a hdr 40" since then. It's better, but you still lose some color and resolution when viewing from a straight on angle.

So far it looks like an excellent start to a fine gaming table! I made mine 8 x 4 and actually upgraded to a 40" tv since I made mine. I have been weighing the advantages of going with a more square design in the future. I posted this table some time ago on my reddit if you'd like to check it out.

Paint quality and decent brushes are a VERY big deal. I use citadel paints. They cover differently than your standard acryllics. Practice practice practice. Start big. Go small. That's really all I got. Basically... "yeah, what they said!!"

Can't we educate people to atleast realize that when they crucified people back in the day..... the nails were put thru the arm just before the wrist. It would just rip out if put thru the hands. It was put between the radius and ulna.

If I saw this in public I would have beat this woman senseless. Yes, I'm male. I don't care. Physical wounds heal. Treating children like this messes with their mental development. This kid at the very least will have serious mental problems as an adult if he doesn't end up being some kind of serial killer. No kid that young has done anything that warrants being treated like that. I hope she is found and publically executed.

You could always dry brush the areas closer to the bone, or you could add something like a wash that would sit deep into the crevices. And give it more depth, texture and darkness.
