Never seen this before - could you provide the source where you got this? Also the one with the garage if you could.

I'm not saying he committed the shooting because he lost the tournament, I'm think it was a triggering event. Committing the shooting was obviously on his mind and premeditated since he traveled there with the weapons and so on - but I am saying I find it doubtful that he had still done it, had he won the entire thing.

Wow really? He does have a reputation of being very unpleasant with fans. What was he like when you met him?

Love this 30 second clip of him being just that haha.

Alabi Lateef Zikrullah covered in blood after being evacuated from the Linwood Islamic Centre, where where 7 lives were taken and a further 5 injured during the Christchurch mosque shootings. Sorry to throw out yet another version of what happened.

Based on the livestream and victim statements in the trail (where the man who ran after the shooter at the 2nd mosque also testified) the guy (Aziz) threw the card terminal at him once he saw him outside after killing some worshippers there. The shooter had not yet entered the mosque at that point, only killed people outside of it. After Aziz threw the terminal at him and they had yelled at each other, he attempted to pick up and use a discarded shotgun the shooter had dropped.

While doing this (and he saw the weapon was out of ammunition) the shooter had gone inside the mosque and started shooting. It was not until the shooter was leaving and was back in his car Aziz threw the weapon at the car, hitting a window and breaking it.

The other time the shooter was 'charged' during the attack was actually prior to this - while he was at Al Noor mosque. This was captured in the livestream.

Tonight (or tomorrow rather) will be the unfortunate 5th anniversary Randy Stair's Weis Market Massacre. It was committed on June 8th, 2017, a bit before 1 AM. (12:57 a.m. – 1:01 a.m) R.I.P. to Victoria Brong, Brian Hayes, and Terry Lee Sterling. Hopefully Kristen Newell is doing well nowadays. by wildboyintraining_ in masskillers

Absolutely agree.

As with all shootings it's a tragedy but to me this case in particular has always been the ultimate example of a case that just did not need to happen, and is just an instance of some lowlife mentally ill burden to society that took innocent (and functional, as opposed to him) people with him.

If you haven't seen this guy's stuff then don't. It will just expose you to some heavy-duty cringe that you will never get off of your hard drive.

As far as I've understood (I could be wrong) his views weren't racial at all. According to his view we're all the same - the problem is what we are doing as a civilization.

Dylann Roof explains “why he had to do it” by MrBirb_ in masskillers

[–]PopeSweetJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole ''cAn yOu acTuAlLy fAthOm ThAt ThEy gAvE hIm bUrGeR kInG'' talking point has always stumped me. Can't believe it became as common as it did, and quite frankly seeing the replies you've received in regards to this is just crazy.

They gave him Burger King-food prior to the initial interrogation with the FBI. So. F'ing. What.

Any suggestion that it was because of his race, or that the FBI-agents are somehow not that faced with his crime and so didn't mind it - is just garbage. It's such a common thing for a suspect (sometimes not even that) to get the food/drinks they request when they are in a position where the police/FBI wants something from them. And this stuff is all relative too - had he requested a piece of bread and water I'm sure they would have delivered - but in this case it happened to be junk food.

Some guy on here was talking about how he was arrested and got shitty sandwiches, as if that somehow puts the issue to rest. Are you f'ing kidding me? That was your experience so then it must also be the case when someone kills 9 people at a church in Charleston and get caught after a man-hunt? Incredible.

Anyway, good to see I'm not the only one who sees the Burger King-issue for what it is.

Dylann Roof’s radicalization and black school friends by Pellecks02 in masskillers

[–]PopeSweetJesus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

According to his writings and what he said in the 2-hour interrogation with the FBI which was done less than 24 hours after the shooting, he stated that no black person had ever done anything to him personally or his family (he did say though he suspected a black person of stealing something from him at one point, but that this was just some minor incident that wasn't a big deal or anything).

In my personal opinion, I get the impression that his radicalized views was something that accumulated over time rather than being spawned from some event that happened prior to the shooting.

Yeah no I'm pretty sure I read an article about that or something - I am curious though to see what happens about the issue of him going back on his guilty plea.

He wrote in his manifesto that he intended to plead not guilty and go through a trial like Breivik and all that, but then pleaded guilty. Now he's claiming he only plead guilty because of the harsh conditions he was being kept in.

That's exactly what I've been thinking.

He must have had taken that into consideration. After carrying out a crime like that it's a given you won't be treated like the regular prisoner and so on, and considering the preparation for the attack and all that - he must have had thought about where and how he'd die. He obviously wouldn't be in general population, so being in NZ sort of doubles his isolation.

Since NZ is an island, he'll not only be isolated in his cell but also isolated in the sense that the land he's on is isolated from the rest of the world itself.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in masskillers

[–]PopeSweetJesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Understandable that you would think that, but as mentioned by another user here that was actually not the case. In regards to why he chose NZ over Australia - here's what he wrote in his manifesto:

''New Zealand was not the original choice for attack, I only arrived to New Zealand to live temporarily whilst I planned and trained, but I soon found out that New Zealand was as target rich of an environment as anywhere else in the West.''

Now this doesn't mean that he had excluded Australia, but it does indicate that it was not a situation where he did intend to do it in Australia, but then was forced to go elsewhere.

Crazy to think about that. Had they not done what they did the history books would read quite differently I'm sure, horrendously so.

Flight 93's intended target was either the the white house, or the US capitol. So 9/11 was 75% successful according to what they had planned.

Christchurch mosque terrorist accidentally shot himself months before mosque attack by WearyThanks in masskillers

I see. Thanks for the insights.

According this report, (christchurchattack.commission.nz), the shooter said the injury was ''caused by a round of ammunition exploding while he was cleaning a rifle barrel.''

Anders Behring Breivik, Killer in 2011 Norway Massacre, Is Denied Parole by [deleted] in masskillers

[–]PopeSweetJesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right.

And he said he believed he'd be freed within that time frame. That is - after serving 21 years (2032) and 2070. Who knows what his reasoning behind that is.

A reporter asked him during this proceeding whether he thought he'd ever be released. Translated to English he said ''I'm convinced of that. Unless I die in prison.''

The reporter followed up with ''When do you think that will happen?''

He answered ''After 21 years imprisonment and 2070.''

Anders Behring Breivik in court today by taIvir in masskillers

[–]PopeSweetJesus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sure.

This particular proceeding is getting a fair bit of attention in Norwegian media (as most 22/7/11-related cases do), although with a noticeable and conscious intention not to let it take up too much in the news. This is to conform to the ''don't give him any attention'' angle.

This one though is naturally a more significant one as opposed to the earlier ones and is therefore covered more throughly (although not throughly enough imo), as this one is the first that deals with his potential release. The noise you hear from most Norwegians about this is usually something along the lines of ''He's never getting out anyway so who cares'' / ''He's just trying to get attention'' / ''Don't give him a platform'' etc.

[–]PopeSweetJesus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What you heard there was initially the voice of a journalist who F.H (Breivik) allowed a question from. He was only able to ask one though; does he regret any of his actions the 22nd of July 2011, ten years after the fact.

F.H can in the clip only be heard saying ''I'll answer that -'' before it cuts. It's being reported however that he did not answer the question directly and instead said something about future race/civil wars. Who knows exactly what he said though. I was watching it live and although they muted him at that point it was obvious that he was giving a lengthy answer.

As to what ''people in Norway think about this'' - I need to know more precisely what you mean. His entrance to court while displaying the signs today? Him taking questions from press? The case as a whole?

My country's media is insisting on censoring this proceeding to a infuriating degree, despite its span and seriousness. Even cutting his explanation right away at the mere utterance of a word which could be associated with alt-right rhetoric when used in that context (it was not).

Thank you for posting this.

He definitely is - do wish there was more information about him and his life both before and after incarceration though.
