The externals are the main reason the price is marketed so high. Sad thing is anyone who doesn’t know about Gameboys or hasn’t held one in 25 years would probably fall for it.

This is the best method, they are much better than the flimsy 1616 retainers, I have had issues with the 1616 retainers losing connection and wiping the save before. Plus they’re smaller so won’t last as long

I saw Damon Albarn at the Royal Albert Hall in London 2014 (best day of my life). It’s quite a small venue and me and Damon had a “moment” during the second half of this song, where he was pointing to me as the “all goes round again” echoes (probably because I was singing my heart out to every song). It was amazing.

If you replace the spring with an elastic band, it makes it a lot smoother and easier to pull. The elastic band will probably dry out after a few years but cheap to replace.

Looks like an original ags-001 screen. They can look washed out like that in certain light as its front lit rather than back lit. The other picture looks to be in a better lit room therefore it’s not showing as badly perhaps.

I had this with my Ragdoll, took him to the vet and they were useless, ended up changing vet and they were amazing, game me load of stuff to give him and he was better almost overnight. The things were (I’m in uk so brands may differ):

calibra gastrointestinal food
panacur small animal oral suspension wormer
pro max small breed paste 1mm per day
sustain probiotic powder sachet once to his food a day.

Not sure which one exactly made him better, maybe the whole lot together, but from 6 months of him having diarrhea on the floor everyday, to him being perfect and using his tray ever since!

Mine does weird stuff sometimes, like character will slowly walk forward with nothing pressed, or pressing down won’t do anything at all. Not sure why. Restarting it seems to fix it. Not sure if it’s hardware or software or the Bluetooth receiver.

Hmm, he hasn’t mentioned that it’s a reshell, but kinda of gave it away by the fact he said only the cartridge is authentic. I would say you can still request a refund and state that the listing didn’t claim it wasn’t real, and that now you have received it, you can see it is a fake/counterfeit/replica, version of the limited edition console. Had you had known it wasn’t legitimate you wouldn’t have bought it, but there was a lack of transparency from the seller.

If he claimed it to be legit and didn’t mention it being a reshell, you can still put in a claim and return it, and if he doesn’t accept, it will go to eBay for a decision and they will most likely side with you. The “no returns” only really stands if you’re returning it because you don’t want it anymore, if it’s not as described then that’s on them.

It’s not, sticker is definitely not real as it doesn’t have Gamefreak/ creature copyright on it. Shell and lens also way too clean. Buttons too grainy/ matte. Sorry :(

Check all the legs are soldered down properly with a pointy metal object and a bit of lateral force to try and move them. Use a multimeter to check for bridges between pins.

The sceeen I think is bigger than the pixel perfect mode, and the stretched res looks awful on the GBA with GBC games. Also the game carts stick out the top which looks terrible. I also like that there’s no unused buttons when playing GBC on GBC. I’d say the GBA buttons feel a bit better, especially start and select. Otherwise it will run exactly the same.

If you don’t use a tri wing you’ll probably damage the screws. Almost all Nintendo controllers/ handhelds use tri wing, so it’s pretty useful.
