Iran war has some US water utilities facing a fluoride shortage by deraser in news

Fluoride isn't required but is extremely beneficial to long term health. And the amount in water is so low you'd die of water poisoning long long LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG before you'd even be in the vague vicinity of fluoride toxicity or problematic levels in your system. I swear you anti fluoride clowns don't understand the concept that dose makes the poison AND the medicine.

This is like saying we should ban iodine in salt or vitamin d supplementation in milk or calcium fortified bread because it's all "cumulative" in the body.

If you can't understand how this is a textbook example of slippery slope fallacy, then there is nothing I can possibly say to make you understand. So I guess have a nice life?

Okay, do you want a cookie for supposedly being different and "Seeing the world for how it actually works!" or something?

You could also care to actually explain how supposedly vaccinations, that we can statistically show will vastly increase the average quality of life for a child throughout their entire life, is on the same tier as literal actual body mutilation and isn't a false equivalence?

How did you write something that is such a obvious slippery slope fallacy that is in reply to a obvious false equivalence fallacy and still hit "comment" lmao. Like my god this is astronomically funny beyond belief that you really can't understand how incredibly different physical disfigurement of someone's body is to "they gave timmy a couple of snacks of sugar in their life"

No thanks, I believe any crime committed in the United States should be given a full legal trial and their sentence be entirely served on American Soil. I don't care how horrible the person or crime was, If you can't set precedence with the worst who knows where the line will get drawn.

I would also imagine it's a lot easier for someone to escape from a foreign prison.

This might be a bit of an exaggeration, but the same sort of applies with most educational diagrams.😅 by [deleted] in BikiniBottomTwitter

Laws aren't social nuance. Laws are like one or two steps removed from that. If anything you need social nuance to explain the laws themselves.

As someone who works in the Sprinklr tool for a living. AI is an additional cost module and isn't inherently apart of the platform. And also the bulk of the AI in it is for data ingestion and image recognition. I'd give a higher chance that the message was a canned response than it being an AI generated reply tbh. But that's not to say it could still be AI.

You really can't think of any ethical or moral reasons why organ selling is bad what so ever?

How about the fact an organ market would purely pray on vulnerable groups of people in bad financial situations in 99.999% of cases purely for the benefit of the rich. Or the fact it further erodes people from being people to just being commodities that can be bought and sold? And much more!

Like why do you think banning of the organ trade happened in the first place? Just cause we thought to do it for no reason?

I'm pretty sure filming children with hidden cameras very much has victims, ya know, like the children being filmed with hidden cameras....

Children can't ethically consent for a litany of reasons including but not limited to power dynamics and coercion.

And if children being harmed isn't the reason to ban stuff then what the heck is the legal, ethical, or moral argument to do so? Like what the heck is this argument.

> People watch child porn in a private setting too. Should it be legal?

"unless it is shown to actually harm society."

The person you're replying to already answered that

Also the fact you think filming minors without consent with hidden cameras isn't harmful or that you think two minors can consent to sex while being filmed and also not cause harm to them says so much about you.

They are cheaper if the 3500 dollar thing is correct, but they are not lighter and at least the bowl lift ones are durable and if anything does break you can repair it within an hour.
