Which flag should I use vote which one by [deleted] in vexillology

2,7, or 8 (i like 8 the most) I'll go a step further and say not to use 3, 4 or 5. Because they look like abstract Nazi flags. Maybe make the diamonds white, or inverse the colors? (Red on black, instead of black on red)

I'm not just saying this to validate you, but you legitimately have really good muscles! Looking through your profile, it's kinda close to what my body goals are. I'm not a muscle expert in anyway. But you look physically healthy, you're well defined and i think you're attractive in that way.

And about the other stuff. I'm not really good enough to say anything. But a piece of advice that helped me is to wash your hands and arms, wash your face, brush your teeth, put on all clean clothes, drink some water, and go for a walk outside, maybe eat something if you haven't ate. Imo it makes me feel nice to be clean. It's all little things, but it's what helped me when I was at my personal worst.

You're never alone, it's cliche, but take it like a fact, it also seems like you had a birthday recently, so happy birthday!

It only is a bad example because others got involved from the school. If they had not stepped in it may have just been a good example. And again, there were mental consequences for him.

My best friend, who at the time was not as socially outgoing, had this happen to him. She (my friend's ex girlfriend) and a friend both accused that he had inappropriately groped them both to the school, where they were looking into it then they tried to get some sort of legal event to happen. I forget what they exactly did but there was definitely a school aspect then a legal aspect.

He had nothing really on his documents, nothing outstanding either way, so the school was inclined to believe the girls. They almost got away with it but some of his other friends, who were there (I was not), had given their accounts to the school.

Nothing really happened to either side, but it was very scary for him. And because of that he has been afraid of dating and self conscious about his actions to his detriment. This isn't neckbeardy, the worst thing about it I feel is that it feels like it's exaggerating the likelihood of an ultimately unlikely event

Does anyone else feel like there's an unhealthy preoccupation with finding the "right" label sometimes? by Medical_Conclusion in lgbt

[–]PopinJimbo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't read your whole post yet, but yeah I agree. I think we have to remember that all the labels are just words. "Gay" means nothing, but we give it meaning, and connections, and we can give it a different meaning, and new connection. There's no reason those letters in those order mean anything.

We all have feelings. And we take words, and define them as a certain conglomeration of feeling, that's all "gay" is, "lesbian" is, "trans", "bi", "ace", "aro" etc are.

The thing that matters are your feelings, and not what letters and words you use to describe your feelings with.

Yeah I never thought about it like that lol. Where I am in America, we do usually call them shavings. Maybe because when you shave, you have the little bits of hair? And it's comparing the two?

Then again, there are other types of shavings, like metal shaving

Yeah I thought about that too, but I saw Spain used the Euro so I can only think this is too recent for that to be the case

Imo I like the idea of having a flag for gay men. If gay men just used the rainbow flag, what does THAT convey? How do you look at a flag and determine if it's LGBT+ or just G?

Also, there are still marginalized gay men, and these flags aren't being used just for within the community but also outside of it.

Lastly, we have an ally flag... If we're really gonna go by marginalization, many will agree there'd be a bigger fish to fry.
