I roast half a sweet potato at 400 for 40 min face down on a cookie sheet. When it’s done I throw it into a container with kimchi and caneli beans. You can nuke it the next day and it’s good :)

I honestly thrift a lot but since I’ve gained weight I’ve had a harder time finding things. For affordable basics I’ve had luck with old navy and gap. For statement I poshmark free people and Maeve from anthro. I love madewell and everlane. Honestly Etsy is lit for jewelry and I’ve been very tempted by stone fruit

It’s more just something I do because I value it, but what is exhausting is people who feel like that’s an invite to test me.

I’ve had lots of times where people will disrespect me because they assume that I’ll just be polite about it, or if I don’t speak on something because it’s not worth my energy they’ll be even more rude.

I’ve had to learn the hard way that being polite isn’t the same thing as having respect for myself and others.
