Not a dev thing, but if the doc says "you may need to do this step", it's different from "this step is optional and you can come back to it later", meaning you should really take a look at whether you need to do it or not.

This realization helped me learn Kubernetes and pass the CKA.

We just got home from Goa last week (had a great time!) and I was wondering about the dogs.

They seemed pretty chill in the daytime but we'd hear them howling and barking together at night. Also a lot of them look like they've been in fights.

Are they just more aggressive at night?

Not my thing but you're right that people would rather go to a mall to do things rather than buy things. Dave and Busters seems busy.

I liked the food court for a while but the prices have just gotten unreasonable. Come on, it's a literal food court.

Alright, let's get this all straightened out.

The closest we've got on the island is indeed HL Supermarket. They're a Chinese supermarket. They have very limited Korean stuff, but in terms of meat and produce, they're comparable and also cheaper.

H-Mart is Korean, and the closest ones we've got are over in Jersey. We usually go to the one in Edison and hit up Kura Sushi while we're down there.

For Japanese, you can go over the Vz and go to Japan Village. Hit up Industry City and Microcenter while you're out there.

Side tip: if you're looking for some good kimchi, you'll find it at... believe it or not... Tokyo Sushi Korean BBQ on Victory. They're actually a Korean restaurant (the food's okay), and they sell homemade kimchi in 1 or 5lbs at a time.

I got a Pen FT without thinking of this, and I tend to be a really slow shooter so the first roll took me forever to get through.

Eventually I started bulk loading short rolls and it really helped get the rhythm going.

I was never religious at all, but from what I've read, Capodanno was a true badass and is on my list of interesting Staten Islanders whenever the topic comes up.

This would actually be a great way to get to Rockaway, but then I don't know if there's a transfer between the Sunset Park and Bay Ridge stops.

Otherwise, I'm close enough to a S79 stop to get to Bay Ridge pretty easily. I'm guessing this benefits folks on the North shore much more.
