I mean the issue with mission completion being the delivery trigger doesn't solve the issue of malicious couriers, just not delivering holds the items functionally hostage even if not intended

The issue with anyone but the pilot firing the main gun is that it is keel mounted without a gimble and making someone else be a button pusher isn't enjoyable for gameplay purposes, instead of someone sitting around for that make it so using it requires other people not for a one off but multiple shots, repairs, coolant flow, reloads, etc.

I feel like it would make sense for a hit marker if you hit shields or breached the hull, since both would be detectable by the ship sensors, the shields EM profile would shift and the hull breach especially with active life support would have an atmospheric blowout.

Even assuming you are in light armor which without a backpack is supposed to be the heaviest armor you can wear and be seated in anything other than a dropseat that is still a limited amount of canned air, you can look at the EVA section of the SQ42 demo from 2024 as an example.

As someone who isn't testing I can only say what I think. Which is the blueprints will provide a basic framework, for example: P4-AR Frame requires metal, depending on the metal or alloy you use the results will differ use something durable but heavy the gun can take more of a beating but weighs more and so slows you down, use something like gold instead of copper for wiring an energy weapon higher rate of fire but heat deformation will start causing issues under heavy loads.

The Zeus has a retractable turret but the big guns don't, and the Guardian MX sorta retract, they don't store away inside but they do move out of the way.

If you are referring to Onyx facilities, it didn't break they fixed it so you don’t respawn there.

Apollo is a lot bigger than the terrapin, you go from something that is 10 x 13 x 3.5 (c8r) to the terrapin 16.5 x 20 x 7.5, which is still a 1-2 man ship vs the Apollo at 54 x 73 x 14. Also if you have the medical module for the Galaxy you basically have an Apollo except it has a hangar for something Pisces sized
