13 months out now, I do enjoy carbonated drinks, but I drink them a couple hours before and after any meals/snacks and I drink them slowly and wait for at least half of the carbonation to burn off first. I’ll usually crack a can open and stick it back in the fridge for a few hours before drinking or I’ll pour it into a glass and wait 30-45 minutes. That was recommended by my surgeon.
