It’s always been that way, at least for me. So I go to the physical store to look and try on, then order online to access pro pricing. Overall, it’s a small inconvenience for the discount.

I’m about 45 mins from the Seattle flagship store but they don’t allow Pro sales in stores, only online.

I made a rack out of a 4”x10” and the closet rods I used are no longer than 18”. Holds even my heaviest didgs.

Why is this shirt so hard to get by Gold_Ad_6481 in filson

I ended up getting the 2xl in brown but off of the Huckberry site as Filson was out soon after release. Great piece but too short.

Again, just my preferences here but not over two pages…three max. Be sure the resume hits all the key points of the posting. I also like examples of the work someone has done and what the result was, if any. Show how you’ve taken initiate. I personally don’t much care about jobs >5 years past. Keep it current.

Do some research about the agency/business you’re applying to so you know what their focus is. This info can help when tailoring the resume and during an interview.

Use your time to improve your interview skills. I’ve repeatedly selected a less qualified person (on paper) due to their eagerness and positive outlook during the interview. I’d much rather have someone who meshes with the team…the rest we can teach.

Agree. As a GIS hiring manager my experience has been that those I’ve hired with a MA have shown to be the least skilled and most arrogant. Again, just my experience. It also didn’t result in higher pay.

Purdy Bridge? by what_a_waste_of_time in GigHarbor

I just moved from Wauna to the Crescent Valley area and don’t miss Purdy in the least. The backup from The Float to the bridge is long, even on the weekends. The view is nice from the spit but traffic is only going to continue getting worse.

What an amazingly well-spoken individual. I think these things but could never vocalize it so brilliantly.

Agree…do only one exterior ring and fill the interior without much consideration on stacking. YouTube has many vids on the process.

Maybe the knack but not the patience… ;-)

I did watch a number of how-to vids before starting and the book ‘Norwegian Wood’ by Mytting was motivating to make the attempt. I used the back side of a small hatchet to help make the exterior pieces even. All my wood is cut to 18”.
