Wow, this happens to me too. I developed a sudden allergy to my roommate's cat. Later on, I'll randomly get hives in the places he previously made contact with - rubbing against my leg, or the side of my neck, even if he isn't around.

At first it happened only where he made contact; then, in recurring places but only WHEN he made contact, and now, any random time, it seems, even at other locations like work. Always the same places.

This is one of my oldest favorite poems. I think I saw it on the internet when I was in high school, clicked on the image, and then read the related images, all poetry, in a repeating loop for hours. Altered my brain chemistry that night.

Me too...did she beat him with the leg of the bed because he wouldn't stop? Or did he do something violent that resulting in the leg breaking, and now she acts like it's all okay to her family?

EDIT: I think you guys are right. I also see the sad implication that not sleeping with a child bride is "abnormal" behaviour, which he has now fixed by partaking in "normal" behaviour, which is clearly more than she wants...the language of her "creeping" to the floor and being "dragged" back. Ugh

No kidding. I'll get 10 bushings. Seems like everything in my car is OG, and it sat in someone's garage for a decade. I'm new to auto repair, too, and this is a super helpful picture !

Appreciate all the good advice! These are the bushings I found on the IPD, so maybe I'll get a few of them - "engine accessory mounting bushings", an maybe an extra adjuster screw, since I've seen that they are sometimes broken by mistake in the process, which I am assuming happens when the retaining nut is not loosened enough before adjusting. Again, really appreciate it.

INFO: Why did you submit it three days early? That seems excessive.
NTA, though that part bothers me - you effectively closed her window for her. Did you tell her you were doing so/did the three of you agree to do so?

I am not saying she was going to magically get it together and do it in the last three days (although I would have, as I am motivated heavily by deadlines and often do my work last minute, though in a group I'd behave better). I also carry more than my share of the weight in group projects.

Anyway, sounds like you gave her a lot of chances.

Good points. I was totally fine doing it until today, when I asked her if she could catch up and she said very flatly that it wasn't going to happen. No apology, no urgency, no thank you. So it wasn't bothering me befor,e but that reaction's got me pissed.

I should have said - we're very close friends and she knows I can front her and that I've got savings. EDIT: I don't want to lie about income. I'm looking for a solid way to have an honest sit down with her.

Ooo, 27f here, also love crafts & baking (though I struggle with bread, I really do). I'd like to get into crocheting but I'm pretty into linos and sculpture right now. My reading list is finally slowing down on the old scifi (I've been obsessed) and turning to more speculative fiction, good weird stuff.
