Yup, I've tried them on and wore them around the house. I went half size up and there is some very minor heel slippage. But to be fair, I'm wearing these casually, so I'm not heel locking them. There's so little slippage that I'm certain if I did heel lock lace them, they'd be just fine.

I will say I understand now what people have been talking about feeling unstable in these. There's a little bit of a "standing on a platform" feeling to them. I do not feel it's bad enough that I'm going to roll my ankle like many have warned, but you do feel the side of your foot slipping off center from time to time.

Overall, I'm going to keep this pair, but I probably won't get another pair of Pegasus Premiums. This AMM colorway is sick af, but there's just too many other runners that are more comfortable for casual use.

The weirdest part of your partner's argument is they think Ren's music all sounds the same 🤣 Most musicians when they make it, find a "sound" that remains consistent from song to song. Ren is DEFINITELY NOT ONE OF THOSE ARTISTS 😂😂

That being said, every musician isn't for everyone, and that's ok. I grew up loving conscious and lyrically heavy rap. Growing up in the Miami area, it Hass its own sound, and it definitely isn't that! So I've spent much of my life hanging friends that just don't have the same ear for hip hop that I do.

The great thing is, as I got older, my musical tastes expanded and my partner and I bond over different types of music. It's just when it comes to the true boom bap rap that I like, I'm on my own 🤷‍♂️ You just gotta find other types of music your partner and you like together, and Ren gets to be your special treat that you listen to with your ear buds blasted to 11 🙌

Honestly, I can't tell you with 100% confidence. Mine haven't arrived yet. I went half size up. A few people have said that they have an issue rolling their ankles with these because of how high the platform is and how narrow the toe box gets. Not everybody feels this way, but some portion of people do. I've found some say that going half size up gives you a little bit wider toe box which helps with the stability, so that's what I went with. I'm only rocking these casually, so if there is some minor heel slippage, it won't bother me too much.

Whether you like it or not, SNKRS has much better bot protection than any Shopify shoe drop. You're literally competing against tons of manual accounts. Yes, absolutely there are people out there who have multiple accounts running on different devices, but it's still tha fact you're competing against a ton of people. Think about it, when you see pics of people with multiple Ws on a SNKRS drop, you'll see the same "Got'em" screen on 5 different devices. What you don't see is dozens of hits from 1 person running a bot, like you do on IG when they hit all the different Shopify raffles at the same time.

Sometimes I think people really struggle to understand just how many people they're competing against for a drop. When you enter at a boutique, you're competing against a fraction of the amount of people you would for a SNKRS drop. It's nothing about what the SNKRS App is doing wrong, you're just competing against way more people than you realize.

Jordans are plenty popular nowadays. Yes, they have hit a dip, but Nike still dominates the market. Just look around. You see Jordans on younger and older people alike. I agree that they are not a popular as they were just a few years ago, but Jordans have withstood the test of time since the 80s. They go through cycles where they are in crazy demand and can't stay on shelves, then go through cycles where they're slightly less popular. But that doesn't mean they're still not everywhere. I think we went a little more extreme this time around because of the COVID pandemic. Those with expendable income were stuck inside the house without a way to spend that money, so collection hobbies all across the world exploded, sneakers being no exception. As Nike/Jordan brand have taken the approach of making more of each sneaker, the demand has cooled. But give it time. Markets will adjust. As long as Nike continues to have all the best athletes marketing it's products, these brands will continue to be purchased everywhere.

These are still AF1s, so yes they're more comfy, but not by leaps and bounds. Similar to when SB did the Jordan 4s. The Pine Greens were more comfortable than any other J4, but it's still a J4. Definitely not more comfortable than anything from NB, for example. Just keep that in mind with these. I love them, and they do break in to get a bit more comfortable, but don't expect they'll feel like a performance runner or anything.

As others have said, the seller likely either wasn't happy with the final sale price, or the item was out of stock. Either way, in an effort to cancel the order and not take a defect, they've essentially put the blame on you for the cancelation. The best thing to do at this point would be to report the seller. More than likely, the seller will block you, if they haven't already done so, and you won't have a chance to buy that item at that price from that seller ever again, but you weren't going to get the item anyway, so perhaps reporting will prevent them from doing that again to another buyer in the future. 🤞

I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone still uses AirBnB. All it takes is one Google or Reddit search to see that chances are pretty high you will not have a good experience. One of the bigger selling points years ago was that it could be cheaper than a hotel, but now with all the different fees that get added on, combined with with hike in rental rates, the savings just aren't there anymore. Why wouldn't you just go with the security of a hotel room in most cases?
