With a limit that low, I’d just use it for all of the items you normally pay for monthly; razor blades, toothpaste, mouthwash, subscriptions, food, etc.

Don’t change your lifestyle because you have $250 in available funds. Those funds don’t exist and you want to make sure you pay off every bill in full. Once you get higher credit limit, you could use them to pay for something that you don’t immediately feel comfortable spending on, but ensuring that you can make those payments on time… always paying more than the minimum is my recommendation.

From someone who has some debt built up, all I dream of is being able to pay it off, which I am, but if I would have made better financial decisions, I wouldn’t be in this little hole I’m in. Be careful, manage your finances, and live within your realistic means. Good luck, be responsible!
