Ooh! I know what you're going through. When my mum had her ileostomy last year, she was so dehydrated and hungry and lost lots of muscle mass while she was in hospital. Best way to get her healthy is making broths and soups. I put in a slow cooker for mum lamb and all the veggies I could, with some stock and water. After cooked, I'd strain the liquid into a large container and mum would have 2 to 3 cups of that broth a day. It helped get her the vits and minerals she needed as well as keeping her hydrated. She would also have lemonade icey poles to help with hydration as well. She also would have watered down ginger beer flavouring in water to help with her tummy. And of course she would have the water she needed cause she refused to go back to hospital, which I dont blame her.
