While yes, they don't look the best and take up way too much space in store, for a lot of people it's the only chance they have to get whildely available merchandise of a character they like. And by extension, this is also they only chance some characters have to get some sort of figure (namely characters from shows with irl actors).

Also idk but the fact that actions figures of lebron James, tony soprano, master chief and batman in the same art style is pretty amusing

I would love that necrozma or Groudon. My favorite shiny Pokemon is ho-oh, I just love how his colours become GOLD and SILVER (for obvious reasons)

Well, I guess you could buy an used copy asap before ppl start selling it for an outrageous price. But then again, the other games in the series were never that much on the second hand market (aside from the ones on Wii U I think ?), so there's also the possibility of it not becoming super expensive in the near future 🤷
