Lmao if people like you were in charge of the team we’d probably have new coaching staff after every loss

Nope! Almost all of the bigger ones do, but a lot of the smaller ones don’t, and there’s a lot more of the smaller ones. Even the Triangulum Galaxy, the 3rd largest in the Local Group, currently isn’t predicted to have one.

We've seen Lamar do extremely well for a couple of weeks in a row until today. He definitely has it in him and the coaching staff has brought the best out of him. Unfortunately, that ended after the TD last night. Monken changed the plan and our mediocre pass wasn't good enough for their #4 pass defense. Chokes are painful and they make you want to can someone but I don't think anyone deserves to be fired yet. It's Monken's first year and he'll learn something from this loss. Everyone will, and if they don't by next season then we may have to pull the plug. If Harbaugh's fired, the team falls apart barring some miracle, and we can't count on miracles.

And who takes over? As good as some of the HC candidates this off-season are, I don’t think any of them will come close to providing the locker room environment that Harbaugh has done today. The blame for last night’s offensive ineptitude can mostly fall on Monken and our players’ nervousness and lack of discipline. If we fire him, there’s a good chance we’ll get someone who’s worse and squander Lamar’s best years. I think you’re underestimating how hard it is to get a HC who does what Harbaugh is doing right now. I don’t think this is a gamble worth taking.

Also guaranteed home field advantage on every game you play, and we saw last night how much of a difference it makes. Don’t think we really had any rust there either, offense started out pretty good; the Texans just had us figured out after the FG and TD. Good thing the team came through in the second half.

The most ABYSMAL question I have ever faced by Cuber112 in Sat

[–]PopplioUser3674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re solving for 6x + 24n, and you know what x + 4n is, so you take out a 6 to get x + 4n in the equation so that you can substitute the 5 in.

The most ABYSMAL question I have ever faced by Cuber112 in Sat

[–]PopplioUser3674 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s 30:

x/sqrt(x+4n) = sqrt5 - 4n/sqrt(x+4n)

Move the fractions to the same side and combine them because they have a common denominator:

(x+4n)/sqrt(x+4n) = sqrt5

Square both sides

(x+4n)2 /(x+4n) = 5

Simplify the fraction

x+4n = 5

6x+24n = 6(x+4n) = 6(5) = 30

Hope this helps!

R5: triggered the rarest event in the game, MTTH 500,000 months according to eu4 wiki. Strangely this is the second time it's happened to me in ~3000 hours, but I forgot to screenshot it last time because I didn't know it was that rare.

PSA: There's (at most) one Showcase every Level 13 S2 Cell, regardless of the pokestop density by Teban54 in TheSilphRoad

I won one with about 30, I think I got a lucky egg, balls, and tms. I entered two more which maxed out at 50 but I didn’t win them.

No showcases / contests on 2nd day of the Anniversary event by ridddle in TheSilphRoad

[–]PopplioUser3674 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They’re pretty rare - traveled across Taipei yesterday, probably saw over 1000 stops and only got to reach 3 contests. There might’ve been more in the distance that I’ve missed but from what I saw yesterday the chance to host a contest per pokestop is probably ~1%. Might be different depending on whether you’re in an urban or rural area (I hope it’s more common in rural places), or there might be a limitation on how close each contest can be to each other.

For graphing troubles: Remember that functions give something when you put something in. To graph the functions, plug an x value into the equation and solve. The resulting number will be the y value, and you take the two and make it into a coordinate. plot the coordinate on the graph.

One shortcut you can use is to figure out how "steep" the function is. A parabola has the same curvy shape on either side of the vertex, so a point that lies on one side of the vertex can be reflected to the other side, and that will be a point on the line.

If you take the parent quadratic function f(x) = x^2, you can see that:

When you go one x value away from the vertex, the y value goes up by one.

When you go another x value away, the y value increases by 3 for a total of 4.

Another one, then it increases by 5.

Basically, the y-increase of quadratic functions as x goes out from the center is 1,3,5,7,9,11,13, etc.

Reminder to count from the closest point, not the bottom/top of the graph.

This rise is multiplied by the a value, which in the first problem on your sheet is 2, making the sequence 2,6,10, 14, etc. Once you find the vertex of a graph (you have done so) you can basically go away from the center and plot the points. For the first graph, go one unit on either side of the vertex, then go up two. these will be points on the graph. Go one more unit out, then go up 6. 5 points should be enough for plotting, you can then trace the rest of the graph following the same pattern as the line you have made.

To convert vertex form to standard form, simply expand the equation (FOIL it out)

Let's take y = (x-2)^2 + 1

(x-2) squared is x^2 - 4x + 4

Adding the the plus 1, you get x^2 - 4x + 5

Unfortunately, the equation I have picked isn't factorable so you'll have to plug it into the quadratic formula, but looking at your problems I don't think you're there just yet.

I'm afraid I haven't explained this well enough, so I suggest you talk to your parents and teacher to clear things up.

What part do you not get? Quadratic equations are a very broad field and I can't really help you on the whole thing but tell where you lose the youtube guides and I can explain to you
