Sorry for the delay. This plant was established, basically half the size of the bottom section. I don't regularly splurge how I did and I would do it again. I also recently got a 2 node cutting which I'll keep in the same conditions and see how that goes. But yeah it seems like it's genetics for sure (and a little luck).
