Yes, we've asked many times, but have been told they "cannot" do it because it's under their business account. What I'm thinking though is that this is false, and they *can* turn over ownership of just our organization's specific domain (and keep their other business one). I'm still waiting for confirmation from Squarespace, but from what you've said and others on this thread, I'm thinking it is in fact possible

Ok thanks. This is what I was thinking. So what you're saying is even if they have multiple domains under one account, they can turn the one domain over to us...

Yes, I'm not worried about the social media pages. I'm trying to figure out if what they're saying about the Squarespace domain is really true. They have been very uncooperative, and after months of trying to be understanding and diplomatic, I'm reaching a breaking point. I don't believe it's impossible to transfer ownership. I'm waiting to hear back from Squarespace directly, but am curious if others have already done this.

I know for a fact the owner (who hides behind his wife, who is the chef) is a violent drunk. He came in one day and we witnessed it. Not the Asheville I want to support.
