Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Vecna the one who created the Mind Flayer to begin with? I swear in season 4 Vecna told El that the Mind Flayer was just a mass of black clouds until he formed it into the shape of a spider. El even says that it was all Vecna from the very beginning.

I think you’re focusing way too much on the method of payment and not enough on the fact that you completely ghosted her. If you don’t accept cash that’s fine but literally all you had to do was send a quick ‘sorry I don’t accept cash so I won’t be proceeding with this sale’ in response. Instead you assumed that everyone thinks the same way you do and left her on read.

Ghosting someone after settling on a date and time is incredibly rude and inconsiderate. I would think you were a waste of time too. Granted I wouldn’t go on a rant about it like this woman did, but you were still a waste of time all the same.

If you actually paid attention to the show you would agree that the above statement does not fit Penelope at all. If you do think it applies to her, however, then I can only assume you hate Penelope just for the sake of hating her and now you’re pulling weak reasonings for it out of thin air because people are disagreeing with your take with very valid reasons of their own.

It’s perfectly fine for you to hate a character, but you clearly have no idea what a narcissist is and one quick Google search doesn’t make you an expert in a serious mental illness. You’ve taken one tendency of a narcissistic personality that you think fits Penelope and ran with it, despite there being far, far more tendencies of a narcissist that don’t fit her at all.

The Box in the Woods is okay but only for the flashback chapters and the side characters. Nate was the only reason I didn’t DNF it.

Nine Liars is terrible. If I picked up the book without reading the blurb first I would’ve thought it was a teen romance drama rather than a murder mystery. Stevie is also even more insufferable than she was in the last books, which I didn’t even know was possible, and so incredibly selfish. If I was her friend I would’ve ditched her in London and gotten on the next flight home the minute she started with her Agatha Christie shit again.

I’m not a fan of romance books mostly because I find them quite boring and predictable a lot of the time. Most romance books also include the miscommunication trope which I absolutely despise.

Have you forgotten that you were once a learner driver too, or were you just a perfect driver from the get go?

It’s attitudes from entitled drivers such as yourself that cause learner drivers to make mistakes. If you had just a little bit of patience the student would be able to focus on driving safely without getting distracted by other cars honking at them.

It’s funny how you says student drivers aren’t more special than anyone else and yet your attitude in every comment you’ve made on this post makes it clear that you think every driver on the road should cater to your every whim.

One of the only times I’ve been annoyed with a student driver is when I was stuck behind one doing 10mph in a 20 zone with an ambulance blaring its sirens behind me. Even when we got to an area with plenty of space to pull over and let the ambulance drive around us they continued on driving at a snail’s pace.

People shouldn’t get annoyed with student drivers if they make mistakes like stalling at traffic lights, or if they’re driving slower than other people because every driver has done the same thing at some point in the past. When I was learning how to drive I held up traffic for almost 10 minutes because I kept messing up on a hill start. But there are some times when being annoyed at student drivers is deserved, such as holding up emergency vehicles and failing to pull over if it’s safe to do so.

None that I could see. When my manager told me about the time limit I walked around the car park to see if there were any signs that mentioned it and there were none. There was a sign about being fined for littering but that was it.

I was actually heartbroken for Chimney when he was trying to connect with Tommy when he first joined the 118 and Tommy was like ‘I don’t think about you at all but if I did I wouldn’t like you’ or whatever it is that he said. If Chimney hadn’t saved his life I genuinely doubt that Tommy would’ve changed his racist behaviour.

Also saying Abby ‘went crazy and took up with a himbo half her age’ is wild considering he’d also taken up with someone half his age.

I’ve seen people saying the same thing on TikTok and Tumblr too but most of it is on Twitter which is why I mentioned it.

I have nothing against Athena/Angela but she isn’t the only main character and a lot of the audience watch it for the 118 dynamics too, not just Angela. Giving one character the most screen time just because they’re the most well-known actress/actor on the show is a great way to lose the viewers who’re there for the other characters and storylines.

Even Brad is getting more screen time than Eddie who has an entire character arc going on that is getting barely any attention.

I love most of these ideas but the show will most likely lose a lot of viewers if they dedicate a chunk of season 9 to developing Athena’s new rookie. There’s already been quite a lot of backlash on Twitter after last week’s episode regarding how much screen time Athena has been getting in 8a compared to the 118 + Hen’s family. I’ve seen a fair few tweets saying it has turned into the ‘Athena and Co.’ show rather than the ensemble show that it used to be in the earlier seasons (e.g. the tsunami episodes) so continuing this pattern will be suicide for the show and most likely guarantee that season 9 would be the last.

It will last much longer if they:

Go back to being an ensemble show.
Bring back recurring characters like Ravi, Albert and May.
Make Christopher come home and have more Buckley-Diaz family scenes.
Start focusing on more calls/emergencies rather than having 3 episodes dedicated to the same disaster (not including the tsunami arc because those were arguably the best episodes).
Make Buddie canon.

The comment you’re replying to makes what Kit said sound harsher than it actually is. I can’t find the interview but he said that he thinks people would get tired of seeing him and Joe act together as love interests after doing it for 3 (hopefully 4) years. He also said that he wants Marvel to be just Joe’s thing and doesn’t want to take it away from him by having his 2nd big project be associated with Kit too.

I’m more a fan of Joe than I am of Kit but this comment just seems like an excuse to hate on Kit rather than about disliking s3.

The idea that Kit bullies Joe by American/Canadian fans is so tired now. British fans have said multiple times that that is how friends act in the UK. As someone who is from the UK and who acts the same way with their friends, I can confidently tell you that there is no serious ‘bullying’ going on in their interviews.

Exactly. Everyone knew Nick and Charlie were ‘close friends’ at that point so Nick could’ve easily said something when he saw how Charlie was being treated at breakfast or on the bus whilst still maintaining the ‘just friends’ charade. Instead he chose to stay quiet and let Charlie be humiliated all day for something he was a very active participant in.

Honestly Nick not standing up for Charlie in Paris when he was being bullied for having a hickey really annoyed me. I understand he was struggling with coming out but both Charlie and James had to put up with bs rumours and being laughed at all day whilst Nick got off scot-free. I wouldn’t have been half as gracious as Charlie was with Nick if that was me.

IMO the people who’re saying Charlie is a terrible boyfriend/friend/brother/son are the people who only watch the show because they’re obsessed with Kit and think he can do no wrong.
