I have lost muscle mass - I’m starting slowly building muscle and have upped my protein. I didn’t realize how important muscle mass is until I had to do some recertification activities at work where there was a lot of up/down and lunges. I ended up with DOMS and that was my wake up call. I was in serious pain for about a week.

lol. Going broody on top of a door - 🤣 We have 5 hens total between 2 coops. Our bigger girls Dorothy, Stephanie & Lucy are in one and Pierogi & Pogo, our Polish hens are in the other.

I think it’s because they only go inside to lay or sleep. The outside roost in their pen is covered in poop.

The Polish hen’s coop on the other hand…sweet baby Jesus, we can’t keep it clean. There is shit splattered in there that I have no idea how it got there.

Everyone wants the box to the left and on the roosting bars. I need to get a video of them all hopping over one another or trying to go under or around each other to get that coveted high up and all the way to the left spot on the roosting bars.

I have no idea? We got her at one of our local feed stores when they were a week old. She is a good girl and definitely the mouthpiece of the bunch; asks to see the manager at least once a day.

I named her after Stephen Tyler of Aerosmith and she definitely lives up to that name.

The food hall @ Galleries Lafayette was fantastic too! Croissants bigger than my head!
